Do you work for article re-writing service?

I read somewhere that the rate for re-writing a piece of PLR article is about $5. Good re-writers can make $50 per hour by re-writing ten PLR articles?
Do you work for article re-writing service? How long do you take to re-write an article? How do you re-write the article?
I always find it harder to rewrite articles. I had tried re-writing some of my articles (posted in AC and Helium) to post at my blogs, but find it too time consuming. I rather re-cycle the idea, and write a completely different article.

What do you mean when you say re writing an article? Do you mean copying the exact same thing and writing it over again? Or do you mean writing it in your own words?

Hi Guitarpunk, are you familiar with Private Label Rights (PLR) articles?
Many bloggers buy PLR articles from a website, and they have to re-write the articles or hire writers to re-write the articles.
PLR means you have the full right to the articles. You can edit, amend or do whatever you want to the articles, and claim authorship to the articles.
Since PLR articles are usually sold to a hundred or more people. All of them have to rewrite, so that search engines will not penalize them for duplicate content.
As long as the search engine treats the article as unique, it doesn't really matter how you rewrite the articles.

So is there any site that pays you to do this?

Hi Guitarpunk, you have to check out Elance or Getafreelancer or Craigslist for blog owners hiring writers to re-write articles.
The chance of getting the job is quite slim if you do not even have writing experience. Suggest that you build up a profile in some writing sites, so that you can establish a reputation as a writer.

Hello scheng1!!!
I got sad that I did three mylot tasks the day before and today I started getting the notice that my task are rejected. I am not a good writer I know. I may be writing anything fluently but when it comes to formal writing with the exactness of grammatical structure it really aches my head. In order to rewrite the article, I know its going to be very much difficult to me, for that I will need to understand clearly each and every sentence. Had the article been mine, I could have easily rewrite it. But I find difficult to rewrite the others articles...
And how does that site work really?

I had never known about this concept. If they hire the experienced writers, I think there is less chance for me. I wanted to do it to earn some money.
Do you use it? What is your experience? or like you have already said, you don't want to re-write the articles?
I will just search and get some info in this thing right now...
Thanks Scheng...
Happy mylotting...

Hi Nzal, you want to rewrite PLR articles for your blog or you want to rewrite PLR articles to make money?
If you want to download PLR articles, and rewrite them for your blog, you can search for those free PLR articles. There are many PLR articles available in different topics.
Actually many bloggers use PLR articles for a few of their blogs. Some of them buy the PLR articles, so that they have fresh contents every month. Then they rewrite the articles before uploading them to the blog.
If you are thinking of making money from rewriting articles, you can check out getafreelancer, elance, craigslist and bid for the job. However, you are not likely to get the job. Those people want to hire experienced writers, and they want to check out the writing standard of the writers before offering them the job. If you have a lot of articles in AC, that will help.

I don't work for a re-write service but I do re-write articles at times. I try to insert some original ideas and words and not just steal the premise of the article. Many people want articles on their sites re-written in a better way and those are what I prefer.
Do you know of a PLR place who is looking for writers? I'm going to need to supplement my income a LOT, very soon.

Thank you for those suggestions! I will look into them. I do have a job writing some articles and it keeps me quite busy but I will soon need some work that pays a bit more. Thank you!

Hi Dragon, have you considered selling article at Constant-Content?
Constant-Content is basically an article marketplace to link buyers to sellers. The commission is 33%, and a 400 words article can command up to $100. The quality is high. They do not even tolerate a single mistake, not even a mistake in usage of comma. Three strikes and you are out forever.
You can take a look at the forum in Constant-Content.
Another high paying writing site is Demand Studio. The top writer earns $30,000 a year. You have to do research, and write to existing titles. The pay is good. Demand Studio accepts only US writers.

Scheng do we have to submit samples to Constant Content or can we just submit the finished article?

Sounds interesting, what is PLR? I have often considered re-writing articles I see online and resubmitting them. I have seen groups of articles on helium that were not very good though one or the other might have good information. I considered taking the best from each and re-writing a new composite article. Are you saying it is possible to get paid for doing this?

Hi Canellita, PLR means Private Label Rights. It is a form of copyrights.
A website offering PLR articles for sale usually sends in a pack of ten articles or more. The website will set a target for sales, for example, sell to 200 buyers.
These 200 buyers will have to re-write the articles to make the articles appear 80% to 100% unique, before they load onto their blog.
Actually most of the bloggers use PLR articles. That is why the idea is basically the same, but the wordings are different.
Ideas are not protected, words are copyrighted. There is no stopping anyone from using the ideas and write a new article. If you are talking about choosing good ideas from a few articles, and write a new composite article, that is not considered re-writing.
Re-writing PLR articles means to change the sentence structure (passive into active, first person POV to second person POV, split a long sentence into 2, join 2 sentences into 1 etc). The easiest is to change the a few words in each sentence.

Hi Canellita, as for the question you ask about Constant-Content, you can check out their forum for more information.
You will read more about the unhappiness of writers whose articles were rejected for slight grammar error.
Our dear Mommaj got her three articles rejected, over "comma". Mine were rejected over grammar.
You can sign up, submit your article. You can submit those that you write for Helium, for Display right, and charge at lesser rate. They will run the spell check before releasing the article for sale. You will receive an email notification. Hopefully you have better experience than us!

I will have to give it some thought. I am going to take video this evening for an article I want to do on networking that I plan to post to AC. I may do a text only version and try submitting it to Constent Content.
