Hi mylotters. It's almost lunch time here and I was thinking of what to make for dinner. Of course I could just search on swagbucks or google and find a great recipe but I dont want to spend any time with an oven on in this kind of summer heat. I woule love to make something with different spices and full of flavor. I love spicy stuff so dont be afraid to add some picante sauce. If you have any ideas let me know and please add your ingredient list, preferable something that takes less than 30 min to prepare. Thanks for any responses in advance and Happy mylotting!
P.S. If you dont have a recipe for a main course, how about a nice salad?

When my mother cooks pizza i'm very happy!! We cook pizza with potatoes, with ham and cheese, and with vegetable too. It would be a great idea... but if you want to prepare a salad you can use many ingredients, and not only lettuce, but with other vegetable, mais, tomatoes, and other things...

Well here in Oz it's winter and it's freezing! So we're having lots of casseroles and warm dishes but I'll tell you something that mum likes to make on a hot summer night.
It's just chicken and salad basically but she makes it really exciting and serves it with corn, whole boiled eggs, beetroot, asparagus. As for the chicken, it's just a store bought roast chicken served warm as it's bought. It's a nice light, cool dinner and relatively easy to make as everything comes prepared!

We are having spareribs for dinner tonight. I bought some from the grocery store and they are already cooked. I just have to heat them up on the grill! Yummy and easy. I am just going to cut up some cucumbers and mix them with sour cream and make up a salad.

You could take that picante sauce and pour it over a chicken in a crock pot, and let them cook together. It is a very simple recipe, just the chicken and the sauce. It tastes wonderful on the chicken, and you could actully use the left over chicken to make taco, enchiladas, chicken buritos, and it tastes fanstastic on a salad with some cheese and Italian dressing.

How about Pesto Sauce over macaroni, with an Italian salad and garlic bread! Pesto is easy to make but it's best served hot!
Pesto Sauce:
in a blender, add
4 cups fresh basil
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
3 garlic cloves
1/4 cup virgin olive oil
a few walnuts or pine nuts ( can be omitted)
blend until a good sauce consistency! (may need more oil)
That's it!
top over hot macaroni or other pasta of choice!
top with fresh grated parmesan!
You know the rest!
Have fun! tdemex
