Growing Weed

I have a little studio apartment that I am sharing with a friend of mine. I've been wanting to grow weed for a while now, but I am not to sure where to start or anything. I have seeds already that a friend gave to me. So what is the best way to grow weed inside in a little studio apartment without spending a lot of money?

I would say go for it but I highly advise you to do some research because you cant just throw seeds in the ground because you could get some crappy weed you need to have the right soil the right lighting you have to watch and monitor how the growth is going at all times, go for it I wish I could grow but its too cold and I live in a trapped town where the cops lookout for that kinda stuff.
