Kalaga, you don't need to use ready made mixes, just keep a stock of staples in, flour, margarine, sugar, eggs, baking powder, and things like cinnamon, ginger and all spice for flavours. It is easy to whip up something tasty from those basic ingredients, the bit I find a pain is actually lining the baking tins so I usually do that first to get it out of the way. I love to bake more so in the winter. I usually take a break in the hot weather. I love to bake chocolate cakes, browinies and banana bread.

I do enjoy baking. I like making birthday cakes for people. I don't make fancy decorated cakes, but just nice good tasting cakes in various flavors. I also like making cookies and brownies. I also like to make my own pizza dough, and I enjoy making pies as well. One of my favorite things to make is quick breads especially zucchini bread. I love making quick breads.
