I understand that they have RULES and guidelines to follow but this is crazy, the child did not moon the audience (as someone did in my sisters graduation) no one screamed out silly nick names, it was not out of hand, he blew a kiss to his mom..
In their view he disrupted the service so they say it as bad behavior. If I were the parents I would be livid.

I agree. The student appears to be the unfortunate victim of the disruptive behavior that occurred prior to his turn to receive his diploma. The school administrator obviously had pent up anger which he chose to vent at the slightest indication of
a deviation from the norm. Actions that would have likely been acceptable under normal circumstances were perceived in an entirely different context. Therefore, I feel it is unfair for this student to be penalized for the actions of other students, of which he had no control over....unless of course, there is video footage showing the student in question to be an active participant in the disruption.

Yeah I guess. But, blowing a kiss is harmless and it's not to a girl on campus or anything. It's to his mom.
