Increase 1000 dollars, work 6 days or Deduct 500 dollars, work 4 days?

Dear mylottors,
If you have a chance to choose.
Increase 1000 dollars to your current salary, but you have to work 6 days a week only have 1 day rest. Or deduct 500 dollars, but you only need to work 4 day and rest 3 days.
Which one will you preferred and why?

I would work the 6 days but then again I have been called a work aholic(sp) I very much enjoy working and getting my hands dirty sorta speak. I am not one of those office type, I like working in manufacturing. Don't get me wrong I like working with computers and typing and stuff, but I do not think that I would like to do it full time, unless it is on my time. That is why I have been looking to do transcription on the side to fill up the space that I am not working. For example if I sit for awhile and watching tv I have to be doing something like crafts and such. My old man gets so pissed because he thinks that I am ignoring him. I try to tell him I can do two things at once.
What would you do, take the money or take the days

Thanks for responding my discussion. I will pick the money too. With the current economic situation, i will like to have more moeny in my pocket

Hi vivianchen. I would definitely pick the first option because money is always needed. I currently work at a company that sometimes offers support on public holidays and weekends. When possible, I try to work and get extra money. We are paid either 150% of a normal work day... or get alternate vacation. I always request the extra money :)
