Drink plenty of water or 4-5 liters of water a day, Its good, but I have some preconceptions about this. Drinking excess water depletes you of esential minerals and salts like sodium and potasium through urination and sweat. Is it advisable to gulp so much of it!

No, a few liters more and you might even die! And indeed it depletes you of essential minerals as they are transported out of your body instead of processed. 1.5 to 2 liters is enough.

nothis is not so! it sepends how you take it .Ever hard of anyone dying by drinking excess water ? No I have not heard in my 78 years life It depend hw you drink it there is the capacity of the stomack its phsical abilty to acomodate particular quantities of water . In cicus I have seen Jokers drinking 20 litres of water and then spitting it out inth form of a fountain from their mouth .It is their daily routine Yes there is a limit to which the stomack could water .In kujal Kirya one hasto drin 3-4 litres of saline water and then vomit it out for cleansing one selvesIn shankh prakshalan kriya one goes on drinking water upto 20-30 litres in a course of 6-8 hours depending upon the individual undr the strict eye of a yoga GURU for sef clansing of the bodyof its toxins If yoou drink water onthe higher side say 4-5 litres the inside of the body is to get likely to be cleaned more but the method of drinking is impotant so to say tha peole will die for getting their salts depleted if more water is drunk needs substantiation all the best
