Windows 7 Final Version is just months away but many of us like me
is already using the Beta version and we all know that
it will expire quarter 1 next year.
So hows your new OS doing? Great? Better?
For me Yes i think this is the best OS Microsoft can offer now ^^
Who here plan to use it in the future?
or still going for Vista or XP SP3? ^^
what are your thoughts? ^^

Funny thing but I don't know anything about it, I've only heard about it a few times and that's it. Win XP is working pretty good, Vista was disaster so if this won't be many million times better than Vista, I'm not changing anything

I agree completely. I don't trust anything that comes out from Microsoft these days. XP was also a disaster when it first came out and it took them a year to fix it. Vista is still getting major fixes and wastes too much resources to run. I'm afraid that Windows 7 or what ever it's called will be worse and more massive than XP or Vista ever was.

Yep before Windows 7 RC, Im using Windows XP SP3 and its much much better than Vista... tried a fresh Vista installation before but it was a disappointment...like compatibility issues mostly on hardware. . and gaming issues as well.
Hopefully they have learned from their mistakes. . . .^^

Judging from many reviews, Window 7 is the way to go. Even though it might not be as slick as Mac OS X Snow Leopard, majority of the programs still run on window. Window 7 has proved that it has erase most of Vista's annoying problem, such as the amount of graphic and power needed.
I do have high hopes for window 7. But it is certainly not wise to buy window 7 straight away. Just like previous Microsoft's OS, there will be alot of bugs in new OS. Maybe a SP1 will come out for Window 7 haha...

Yeah on my past Microsoft's OS, I always wait a little longer before upgrading
when all the "bugs" or problems have come out. this will give precautionary measures
and weigh the "Yes" or "No" decision process. . . but in my case hmm maybe i stayed too long on Windows XP and want a new feeling but same or better performance. ^^

I, myself, am still using Windows XP. I have heard good and bad things about Windows Vista. At first it was a lot of bad things, but then I heard that they got all of the issues resolved. I have had people ask me my opinion about Windows 7, but to be honest with you, I don't know a thing about it.
I guess I will stick with my Windows XP since it does everything that I need to do on my computer. If there is ever an opportunity to upgrade, or mostly likely if I buy another computer, I would definitely want to check out the new Windows 7.

where did you get your windows 7 beta version. did you download it from the internet. it is not that popular yet in the philippines, isn't it. i am still using xp. and so how was it. did you like the new version of windows. what makes it different from previous versions of microsoft. i would only want to install and use it when it is better than xp and when it is user friendly and without bugs and without many things to learn first before i can use this one. ease of use is the most important to me. since i am not a techie kind of person. i avoid any programs that involves intensive learning and requires knowledge of other things beside the program itself.
i stay away from those kind of programs. but with XP it was just install it and every thing is easy and a breeze. does not tkat a computer wizard to learn to install it. before i was weary of installing XP myself cause it was my first time to install anything on the computer. but i was so happy to learn that i can do it. and so i hope that will be the same thing with this version 7.

For using new OS, I think better wait until the systems is stable and not much problem with their softwares. I still use Windows XP SP 2, and I am happy with that OS. New Windows also need new equipments, they don't use small memory and graphic card.

I intend to buy a new computer this fall, so I was thinking of getting one with Windows 7 on it, but I need to read some more positive reviews before then. I might be looking for a copy of XP instead. I am using Vista on a laptop now and I hate it.

We will probaby get it eventually. I think it is a good idea with new releases to wait and see how it works out and what other people think about it before getting, also making sure there are no problems or glitches before getting it is wise. But I am sure if seems to work well, and there are no complaints about it we will eventually end up getting it, but we will not be one of the firsts.

"with new releases to wait and see how it works out and what other people think about it before getting"

No. Windows Vista itself needs so much more ram and cpu power than I can afford. I just cant be bothered with Windows 7. Stick to Ubuntu Linux and the world is your oyster.
