What is your favourite operating System????????

I love XP. I always use it and only it! Most of the games and softwares run smoothly on it. And I felt it user friendly than other OS. Others are superb and OK, but I am accustomed to styles of Windows and so no probs with it. As far as Vista. I puke at it!The only thing it does is display a multi-colored circle that goes round and round and round and round and round and.... alright, the thing goes round more than the time you spend for reading this response. And many softwares are incompactible with vista. So I don't use it. Regards, Ajith.- I mean- Your Freak!

I like XP better, I used Vista before, as well as linux, Vista is beautiful. Chrome is only a web browser, is not a system. If you are talking about the browser, I love Mathon better, I found it's hard to accustomed to IE7.0.

Windows XP..its so easy to modify and of course it supports so many application unlike Vista..But im eying for the Windows 7 which will be released this october year..tried the beta version and its a lot faster than Vista..IMO

I prefer windows XP but my favourite OS is MAC OS. I use windows only because it is cheaper and assistance is always available nearby.

I currently use both windows xp and ubuntu, and i think that they are the best os at moment, vista is really hardware demanding and doesn't have anything more of windows xp (at least nothing useful). I have been trying windows 7 (since i can have the beta for free with msdnaa) on a virtual machine and it seems to be definetely better than windows vista. To compare it properly to xp i should try it in a non virtualized environment but i've not yet done this.

My favourite is also Windows Xp. I think reason for this may be that I have been using it for a quite long time.. I also used Linux for sometime and found to be good. But I feel Windows Xp is the most user friendly operating system.

My favorite operating system is windows xp.I have been using it for a long time.I run most of the applications successfully in xp.It is also very safe as it has the firewall integrated in the service pack two.It also has good modern looks.Because i have xp professional.When the computer suddenly goes off i don't get the drive error scanner.Also the games in xp are very interesting to play.

I am just using Windows Xp Professional. My computer couldn't handle Windows Vista so there's no way for me to install it. Besides, i learned from a friend that it needs a 15Gb hard disk space just to install it, so i say forget it! I have lots of files here and i cannot afford to give 15Gb of space just for the operating system alone. I have heard a lot of bad reviews about Vista so i guess i should stick with Windows Xp for awhile until Windows 7 is out and my computer is strong enough.

Hi KIKI, Whatsoever people speak of Vista or Linux my operating system is Windows XP and that is all.

I like to work with only windows xp. For about a week I tried with the vista and I found very difficult to work with the OS. I was not able to respond to the unnecessary interactions in that OS.We have to answer to lots of windows that areopeing and they are highly irritating one.Then I switched to xp again. vista may be suitable to the new users of the computers who learn the computers now only.

I use xp, and almost always did. (I only used 95 and ME about 8 years ago) Xp had always worked fine. Thats why I hate when people cry and moan about vista. Why did you get vista? There is no need to upgrade. Don't complain about compatibility issues. It is almost like you have an old P3 1.6mhz with like 256 ram, and you play CS 1.6 on it, and then you decide to play Crysis on it.

Well i am currently using Windows 7 and I am loving it.....the entire layout and design of the operating system is so good that you wont feel like getting your eyes off it......it has lots of added advantage and features added to it......it has resemblance to Vista but is definitely not slow and dragging like vista.....it is much faster and works on low end machines as well......i would suggest a minimum of 1 GB ram......works fine for me......

Windows XP is also my favorite.As you said ,i am accustomed to using it,i bet most people would say so. In my view ,windows XP is the best operating system so far,even better than Vista(not vitas).lol

windows XP. its the most common operating system in my area and its the only one i can operate. i heard them saying that windows vista is very safe but slow to get started.i dont know whether its true or not.

Now am using Windows Xp.all it's features are good ,i feel,and very comfortable for me. I haven't used the latest windows.I liked the themes of Vista,Crystal Xp etc.

I've been using Windows XP Service pack 3 for almost 4 years. tried Windows Vista and i didn't liked it because it has so many issues. hardware compatibility and even games. . . These year im gonna try Microsoft's Windows 7 OS. hope it would be better than vista... ^^

Mine is Windows XP too, it's because I am used to it for long time and Windows Vista is really slow to start and other things. Besides I like Windows XP interface, it's easy for me to use it and most of my clients use it, so it's more easy to work for me, because of my clients. But I know there are quite good another systems around, like Linux and MAC OS, but I don't know them very well.
