If you are currently on unemployment and you were offered a job that pays you four dollers less then your other job would you take it or wait for the other company to call you back?

Do you have enough money for living in few months if you have no job? if the answer is yes, I don't suggest you to accept the job. or you should take it at once. All of us know that it is hard to find a new job with satisfied salary, so don't miss any chance if you have no enough money in your bank account.

Yes!! Most definitely. Jobs are so scarce right now that we are going to have to sacrifice the pay in order to obtain employment. Any job is better than no job, some income is better than none. If the other company does call back then you can always quit the lower paying job. Or keep looking while working the lower paying until something better comes along. Me, personally, no I wouldn't turn down the offer in hopes of something that may or may not be.

I would take it. The way the economy looks right now, it's rather hard finding a job. I'm currently working minimum wage, though, so I can't make any lower, but a job is a job! If you don't like that you make four dollars less, you can always look for another job in the mean time, but you might like this new job and if you do then there might be chances for pay raise and it might be worth taking. :)

For me, I will take the job first and in the meantime keep looking for another job with higher pay. Under the current economic situation, it's very difficult to get a job. We should be thankful as long as we got a job. Also, take this opportunity to learn something rather than just sit back and wait for the other company to call. And further more, by have an existing job, we will have more bargain power with the next company that is going to call us.

If I was unemployed and desperately needed money, I'd probably take the worse paid job offer rather than wait for the other company to make a decision. It would all depend on my financial situation at the moment. But seeing as with every job my experience grows, it would be logical to expect higher pay instead of lower.

In this day and age jobs are really hard to come by.. I would accept the job that paid me less and carry on looking ofr a higher paid job! Its easier to find a job when you are in one. I have been a manager and when we have had the problem of having to employ newbies we would always interview the people that had a job first then the people that didnt! More often than not we employed the person with the job already as we knew they could hold a job down.
