Nice discussion.I started learning computer at the age of 12 or 13..I didn't remember it exactly...I learned MSDOS for the first time..It also include punching card and Wordsstar....I love doing flowcharts at theory classes. I learned Micro soft office very fast,as I used to find it more interesting.Internet was quiet new to me.
Now I am using a computer for almost 10 years.

I got my first PC when i was at high school for study purpose and gaming then i familiarized myself with it. i learned how to navigate it open close apps, shutdown, restart,MS Word, games, and software installations all by myself. ive been using computer for almost 8 years now, you can learn through experience so thats it. ^^

I've been using a computer about 15 years. Never had any interest prior to that time. Our kids had to show me how to turn it on and use email. Since that time, I have been on my own. I learned the computer by trial and error. Might have been faster and easier to take a class.

Of course, for years. I met it when I was in middle school, about DOS. And after that the technique of computer developed faster and faster. When I was in the university, I know what is internet and learnt most of the skills from my roommate. School is a good place to learn knowledge, and friends are more suitable for learning skills.
