I have used Nokia cell phones for the past 7-8 years and i must proudly say that "these phones never ditched me"...neither in terms of battery life, data loss, nor user friendliness.I feel Nokia stands out amongst all the other brands...
What are your thoughts?? Do you prefer Nokia over other brands??

Nokia has always been my preferred mobile phone brand. I have been loyal to this brand since 1995 when it made its debut in our country with the Nokia 5110. But prior to 1995, I was using a Motorola for about 3 years - this was the time when mobile phones have not boomed yet.

I have always had a Motorola and been very happy with them. If anything has ever let me down, it is the carrier, not the phone. :D

Hey hi,
Nice to know that you like the motorola phone .....unlike me...LOL
I somehow kind of hate the Motorola phones...probably bcoz they are not that user friendly and have a major battery issue...
Have you faced any battery problems on your Motorola cellphone??

vaibhav

I have two cellphones one is nokia N73 and the other is of motorola . I have not used other brands yet. Nokia phones battery lasts much longer than motorola phones and it also has more features than motorola. I think motorola phone's battery performance is worst. It takes nearly 3 hours to get my battery fully charged for my motorola phone as compared to 1.5 hours for my nokia phone.

Nokia N73 is much better than my motorola phone. Nokia N73's sound quality is very good. It is much louder than motorola's . But the only problem with Nokia N73 is that it sometimes gets hanged if you try to operate it quickly. But overall it is much better than motorola.

Yes Aditya, i agree with you that N73 has good sound quality and hangs quite a few times.
Do you think Nokia provides best sound quality in its class??
I have a Nokia 5300 xpressmusic and that one also tends to hang up a couple of times. in the past i had N-gage, 6600 which also used to hang up quite a few times.
But fortunately though i havent lst any data till date due to a Nokia phone.

Hi Aditya,
Even i have a similar experience. My father has a moto-razr and apart from being slim, there is nothing really gr8 in that phone. Especially the battery life, as you mentioned, is extremely poor and takes forever to charge...
So how do you find the Nokia N73??
Howz the music quality on N73??

Vaibhav

Hey Yok,
Nice to know that you transitioned from SONY to Nokia....
So how do you find the communicator??
I had one a few years back and it was fun to have a phone with a fully functional keyboard, but then it was slightly bigger and would not fit into the jeans pockets...
Is it convienient for you??

Vaibhav

2. It has the only Operator Provide Charge Realiable Battery i think.
3. nokia is most Popular on the Mobile Field on our Country.

first phone i had was a nokia then i swithced to sony ericsson. It was a big adjustment since they don't have the same specifications like the asterisk and the number sign is different. But after a few years of using SE, i went back to nokia and i enjoy it being very user friendly :)

Hi Orevro,
I have seen lot of folks who have switched away from Nokia and came back to the brand due to its user friendliness and durability.
In the last few years i have dropped my phones multiple times and believe me the phones are still working the same.
Any such incidents happening with you??

Same with me.
A "Proud" Nokia phone user since 9 years.
But, I can't say that these phones never ditched me as they did.
I lost my data on Memory card, as it got corrupted and infected.
But, its fine as I love that battery life and I don't have to charge my phone daily.
I am currently using Nokia N95 8GB.

Hi Vaibhav, I have used Reliance, TATA, Sony Ericson and now I have sticked to Nokia, this is really user friendly and no need to charge the battery twice or thrice in a day like Reliance or some other products. This is my favourite product in cell phones.

Hi Ammu,
I think the Reliance & TATA products available in India are the most pathetic products and simply unbearable for me.
I am sure you must be very very satisfied after switching from Reliance/TATA to Nokia.
Which Nokia cell do you have??

Vaibhav

Nokia phones have this background noise.. it's barely, or not noticable to most folks, but I have this rare strain of bionic level tinitis. ALL Nokia phones have this almost crystalline ringing sound, constantly, that accents on every word.
Kyocera phones feel like candy boxes.
My Samsungs.. Oh how I love me some samsung. My last three phones have been Samsung. Battery life when properly hacked. Great sound, great functions, and oftentimes, available free with upgrade.

Hi Kaiote,
I havent ever experienced such a noise in any of my Nokia phones till date, but as you have mentioned already, everybody does not realise it....
So it seems you are a hardcore SAMSUNG fan,...how do you like the Samsung phones...
There are a few available in the market that are very slim, i like those....
Which features in samsung make the phones make them stand out from the competition as per you??
Regards,
Vaibhav
