It is great to get a baby to enjoy traveling so he or she grows up to become a keen traveler. My son is 2 years old. He went to Portugal when he was 4 months old, to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia when he was 13 months old and to South Africa when he was 20 months old. I hope to take him to Canada next summer.
Have you become well traveled in your lifetime?
Did you travel when you were a child or when you were older?

In 1946 I flew from Melbourne to Sydney and back. However my real travel experiences didn't start until I was 25, and are still going strong today 44 years later.

As the ratings I'm not as professional as you max. I don't know how you manage to travel as much and as widely as you, and still raise your two boys. My next project is to drive around Australia on an aged pension income. What do you have on your agenda?

This year I went to South Africa and next year I hope to go to Canada. My country is in a recession right now so I am not traveling as often as I used to. I am about to have a baby daughter. I live without a mortgage on my home. Most of my money has gone into my traveling. I can't imagine a year going past without any traveling overseas my friend Mipen. Good luck with your travels.

I traveled when I was a child. We always went on vacation when I was growing up. When I grew up I still travel just not every year. But, now I take longer trips and trips farther away than when I was a child.

Hi, I am new to the mylot, It seems very interesting people share some common interests together.
Me and my boyfriend just came back from China, we were in China for a whole month, we went to 7 cities. It was lots of fun and we took so many pictures and lots of movies too. I am not in the high enough level to upload my pictures yet.

Travel helps to expand knowledge about the world, people, culture, etc. and also helps to upgrade ability to deal with different situations, and improve personality. I travelled a lot both for business and on private. During vacations, my son travelled a lot with me, so the experiences quite often became resources for his school writing programs. And after his international travel for work errands, he seems to be more accommodating and understanding than before. That is exactly my impression from travel too.

We took foreign holidays when I was a child and I remember some great places. We used to take the car over to mainland Europe on the ferry and quite often towed a caravan through France and Spain. The most memorable trip we took was to Pamplona in Spain, home of the bull fights. I will always remember the scary drive up there on those hair pin bends then the dusty hot town at the top. It instilled a love to travel but unfortunately I have still not travelled outside of Europe.
