the other side of Gabs which takes a long time to come out
Someone has gone to far to do, this Person has wound me up so many times in the past 10 months with his attitude and thinking he is above everyone and owns the village, well today he went to far
As most of my Friends here know I get visited by Nurses because of my Illness, today my Nurse came to see me to check how the Infection in my Lungs is doing that has been there since before Christmas
When they come out they have a big bag as of course they need the Equipment and all that, when there is no room on the side of the road they will park on the Pubs Carpark they are only here for about 20 minutes and the Pub Carpark is empty, the Landlord there is an arrogant B.....d,
Half an hour after my Nurse left she rang to tell me that she had only just left because her car had been clamped by him over there, he had a right go at her in front of People demanded money of her to be unclamped, he made her cry in the end Nurses do not carry that kind of money round with them, she had to get to another Patient and he kept her there half an hour and being nasty to her
I went over there even though my Nurse told me not to as she did not want me stressed out, I did go over as this was the limit, he even demanded to know the Patients Name she had been to see (which is me) now anyone knows they are not allowed to give the Names due to confidentiality, I went over and asked for a word in privat, there where 2 Customers in, he said no we can talk here, I then told him that it was out of order what he did, there was no need to keep the Nurse that long and to have a go at her like he did
He had a go back at me and I just told him that I really hope that he will never need Nurses Visits and that I found it disgusting that he kept her there that long knowing she had to go to another Patient
Ok she should have knocked and let him know, but my Dispute was that once he knew and she was wearing her Uniform and Badge, he should have just warned her and unclamp the Car to let her go but he didn't he had to make a big deal out of it
He then told me if I did not leave it he would fall out with him, I told him he already had a long time ago and left the Pub, as my Breathing was starting to come out in gasps and I just wanted to hit his arrogant Face, he is such a horrible Person and still now I just want to go and put a brick through his Window, he went to far this time, I have seen him be nasty to People he even tried to be nasty to me once I just walked away but today I have had enough, admittedly I am very unsettled and ratty at the moment because I am fed up with all the tests that are being done on me, I am tired because I am awake most of the night coughing, but there was still no need for that. Have you ever come across a Person like that ??????

Unfortunately, there are those type of people in all walks of life. They think they're above everybody else, including the law, and are best ignored.
I'm not saying what you did was wrong. In fact there comes a time when things have to be said, and I know you've never really got on with this guy. I feel he has something against women, for reasons I won't divulge here, but you'll know what I'm talking about, but what he's done here is way, way out of order. As far as I know, visiting doctors and nurses are allowed to park wherever they darned well want, and it's not as though he fills the pub, is it, especially during the daytime? If I were that nurse, I would make a report on him. He has absolutely no reason to keep her from doing her work... other patients rely on her and you need her to visit you... end of story. I think he should be brought to task for what he's done.
Well done Gabs... you did well to give him a piece of your mind, but don't get stressed out over an oaf like that! Brightest Blessings, love and hugggggs. xxx

Hi Darkwing I know she phoned her Office straight after so I am leaving that to him but I am trying to find out if he is allowed to clamp cars and collect the money as I always thought only a Firm can do that
No I have never liked him and again my Instinct was proven right
Big Hugs to you xxxxxx

I think, as he is a publican, and it's his private land, that he may have the right to clamp, but when it interferes with a public services employee, like a nurse or doctor, then there might be some allowances for them. I hope he gets his come-uppance anyway, and as I said, I shall be swapping pubs when I come up there to see you! xxx

I haven't come across anyone as nasty as that. Does he own the pub or is it brewery controlled. If it's brewery controlled you could write to them and complain about his behaviour. These nurses do a fantastic job and shouldn't be prevented from doing it.
I really hope he gets what he deserves.
Hope you feel a bit better soon.

Hey, that's not a bad idea! I am sure the brewery would not give kindly to one of their staff acting in this way, and what about the papers! I am sure the local paper would love to get a story like that!!!!! If you can't beat them, get even! He needs to be taken down a peg or two, bullies like that need stomping on from a great height!

what a real jerk why didn't you guys call the police? He does not have the right to harrass people, no matter who he thinks he is. His behavior has got to stop, one way or another.

Well I would hope I never do . As he is a owner of a pub he is surposes to be nice to people to keep and get customers!
If he is this way with his patrons dont think he would have a business long.
So he must be a goody 2 shoes with customers.
But no he shouldnt have bootred her car and NO he shouldnt have kept her from her pateints for that made her behind on al lher appointmnets and she probably then had to call work tell them what happened then someone else might have hada to go to some of her people@1 grrrrrrrr.
Ya know what I would have done he wouldnt have been standing longLOL

Hi Sweetie, I saw red at reading this, the man is an outright bully of the highest degree he's a common thug, a nasty piece of work. I have met some bullies in my life and they are the lowest of the low, and picking on someone as innocent as a nurse well he's pondlife, and I wouldn't have blamed you for throwing the brick, but trouble is the law as we know is a damn a55 and you'd get punished not him! The justice system is a mockery allowing bullies like this to get away with it. Well I believe in karma and I hope one day he will get his and I hope that you are around to see it because believe me sweetheart those B*stards get their come uppance. My ex was a bully as you know and thankfully I found out that he's got his come uppance. I have no time for bullies in fact it makes my blood boil. Hugs to you and Gissi xxx

Sweetheart, I was close to tears I was so angry, I did cry when I got back here because of anger, he tried to talk above me but I did not let him, I told him what I thought of him, I have watched him being nasty to People a lot,he even put a note on my Car once when he first got here my car was only there for half an hour and I did not know the Pub had a new owner, I took the Note and threw it on the Floor, he came up to me and told me to pick it, I told him, why should I he put the rubbish on my Car so I am leaving his rubbish for him to get rid of, and to not threaten me again, as I would take it further I got in my Car and went. That poor Nurse was put through an Ordeal that was not called for , I now have the permission for the Nurses to park here on the yard when they come. I have not been this mad in a long time
3 Years ago I would not have dared to do that but not anymore I have been bullied and walked over most of my Life and no one will do it anymore. I am glad that your Ex got his come uppance he deserved it and I know my Ex Husband has to
I know this Guy will to, as for the Brick, well I am still tempted lol but I won't
Love you and a big Hug xx

No, thankfully I have not come across anybody so mean, specially to nurses knowing perfectly that they have other patients to attend to! And how does it matter Gabs if somebody has parked the car in my carspace for sometime? I know that car’s not going to be there forever! And what are we living in a community for, if we don’t come to each other’s aid? Very sorry about this incident, and would tell you not to get stressed up.
The nurse would be more careful about parking next time and even if there is a problem, I would let her handle it. it was very sweet of you to go and talk on her behalf, but no point in you falling sick over this.
Give my hugs to Gissy.

Hi Gabs: Yes I have come across a couple of people just like your pub man! It feels so good to have your say but in the long run you never win. Because they just keep on being nasty to who ever they want and whenever they want. lol
I hope you're feeling better. It was great to see a post from you.
Take care

I'm very sorry that you have been so stressed over this incident, gabs. Unfortunately, people like the man you describe are everywhere, and we can only hope that we never have to cross paths with them. He was definitely out of order in doing what he did. The nurse was there in a professional capacity, and he should have let her off with a warning at the very least.

Hi Tamara believe me I was angry but I had to walk away as breathing was getting hard because I got so angry with him, he tried to talk over me but I would not let him, I was not going to let him see either that my Breathing was getting out of hand, I was just so mad, that he upset that Nurse so much
All it took is for him to give her warning and let her go to her next Patient, I felt like putting a brick through his window, I do not get mad like this usually, but he had just gone to far this time
Hugs Sweetie, do not worry about me I have calmed down a bit, still have the urge to throw that Brick though lol
Hugs xx

Hey gabs~ I am so sorry that you and your nurse had to go
through all this! This man seems to be a complete and utter
azzhole and should just go to hell! Something really bad
should happen to him! People like him deserve to have something
bad happen so they can find out for themselves what it is to
be sick and in need of help! Now gabs, you need to calm yourself
down and relax! You can't let an azzhole like this get you all
riled up! You just can't take on the azzholes of the world!
Unfortunately there are just too many of them around and it
you try to take them all on you will just make yourself sicker!
So please just try to calm down and get some rest! Someone will
get him sooner or later!

Yes I have met a few, they are just so full of hate and anger that their only way to communicate with others is to be hateful. This is also a power play for them because they have found that the rest of us would do almost anything to avoid that anger. It's best not to fall into his trap and become angry at him. This is just what he wants, that way he knows you have noticed him. Next time smile and be the nice polite person you normally are, he doesn't need to know what is truly going on in your mind and you will really surprise him.

I know what you are saying Pat and it is not often I get that mad, don't get me wrong I did not shout at him (I can't anyway because of my Lungs) I was polite but I wanted him to understand he can not treat People like that and specially not someone in that profession who had to be at another Patient House, all he had to do is ask her not to do it again and let her go
But I had my Say and that is it for me, I do not understand why there are People about like that

I think that there must be at least one horrible landlord in every town. We have one in ours, my mother in law plays in a darts team and me and hubby sometimes go and watch them play. This one night we were in this pub and the landlord had come over to the table, he is one of those who when he speaks thinks that the pub should go silent and listen to him, well one of the women was not particularly interested in what he was saying and carried on talking across him. He turned around to her and loudly announced that he hoped she got raped! Yeah he did and we were all totally gobsmacked, he did not just say it once, he said it twice! The lady he said it too was totally gutted and it really upset her. Since then the darts team have refused to play there.
