When I had a cat, he did sleep with me in my bedroom - in fact he slept on my bed. He was a really big cat too and would sometimes get in the way when I was trying to move around or turn over while sleeping.

No, Only cats I ever had in my bedroom were the ones that were sick and dying, as I cared for them up till their last moment... At least when they are feeling a little better I laid in bed and hold them, and they cuddle and purr. I always wanted an indoor/outdoor cat.. but my family would never allow it.... I however had fun sleep outside in the grass, on the deck, and the sidewalk, and my cats all cuddling around me, at times I would get nervous as I did not want to roll on them when I sleep, so I trained them to never lay right behind me, the cats and kittens my english shepards could because they were big, and would lick me if I bumped into them :) .... I love the cats and kittens. They are my babies and second family. - DNatureofDTrain

Mine both do. I wish they wouldn't, but the girlfriend wants them to, and that's that. They love to attack your feet or hands as soon as they so much as slightly protude out of the covers, it's a nightmare on hot nights.
