do you pray before you go to sleep?

I used pray, but after a while began to discredit in God, which is bad, but today I came to believe and confess that I am not praying. but come back.

Yes. I usually do pray before going to sleep. I have fallen asleep a few times without doing so though. I try not to foget it but sometimes I am so tired, I fall asleep without even thinking about or while getting it started.

Hi jhe, I usually would say prayer and thank god as well before going to bed. After saying prayer I would like to read a few pages of book I then go to bed. I have such habit for quite a long time. Yeah, I should express my gratitude to god for awarding me and my family another lucky day. Sometimes I do say prayer for relatives, friends or those unlucky persons who suffer from illness or other hardships or misfortune Of course sometimes I feel too exhausted and would fall asleep fast and totally forget about saying any prayer at all Happy posting

Yes, I pray every night before I go to sleep. I didn't always, though. The reason why was because I always thought that I had to word my prayers a certain way. That's not necessarily true. The lord doesn't care how we pray as long as we do it. We need to be thankful all the time and ask for forgiveness of sins. Just think how the lord would feel if we didn't talk to him? Kathy.

hello there jhelaichie..... yes i do pray. i give praise to our maker for the things that He has done for the while day. for the blessings that He gave, for the strength, for a loving family, for my job, my friends, any many more. yes i do ask for forgiveness for the things that i have done(no body is perfect) but i am trying to do less wrong doings.well i think that everybody wants to be or to do good to others...... i also ask for guidance as i work and go out everyday. and i give Him all back the glory and honor AMEN.....oh if i forgot to pray at night when i wake up in the morning i ask forgiveness immediately. have a nice day... nice topic...

Yes I do pray at night. I pray when something is on my mind whether it be something on my mind that I desire, someone or anything that I am worried about, or simply I pray just to thanks God for another day.

i always pray before going to bed.now i had convinced my husband to lead the prayer every time we do that.they say that the family that prays together,stays together.i really believe in that.apart from the faith that we shared, praying also strengthens us and make us overcome our problems.i believe there is healing in prayers.

Yes, I always pray before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I usually just give thanks to God for the day and talk to him like I'd talk to anyone else throughout the day. It's always nice to have God as a part of your life, you'd live happier and more content if you treat him as a friend and just consult whenever there are decisions to be done and just express yourself as you would with your close friends. I do that, and it makes me happy to know that regardless the downturns in life, I'd always have Him with me ready to listen and help out.

yes i do but not all the time. only when i feel that i can pray sincerely. i just don't want to pray for the sake of praying. i first thank God for everything then ask Him to bless all the people around me then i am going to tell Him my request or wish. Though i don't wish all the time for myself because it's more effective when i pray for somebody else.

This is a confession =), i do pray before i go to sleep BUT there are times that i forget to do it. Especially when i am tired for the day sometimes i just sleep. There also a time that i am praying but i got sleep while doing my prayers, really bad i am. But ofcourse i know that prayers is important in our life, give Him praise and thanks that today were here i'm just lazy sometimes to do it. But promise before i sleep tonight i will pray =) .. Yes,to be frank,I pray to God occasionally but not regularly. I do believe that in all of our regular activities He is always with us. That is why our every activities in life whether good or bad, are being evaluated by Him. And as a result.we are getting failures and success,joy and sorrow, anger and smile etc. etc. And we also often utter the words "Thank God", "Oh Lord" etc. etc. Are we not always associated with Him??

yes everytime, anytime, and always... I cannot sleep if i will not pray and that is my obligation to our almighty god. prayers serves as my guardian angel everyday. if ever i forgfot to pray is that i feel bored, not enjoying the company i was serving. But if i ask from god and pray good to him surely it made my day beautiful,nice,enjoyable and full of memories. I have feeling that i have made my day never forgotten. Im very particular interms of faith also. thats why i believe in prayers all the time. Talking to god even if i have not seen him, asking thanks for the another day he gave.

I don't pray.Because I am not a Christian.I don't have the faith of god.But I appericiate everyday and everything I have.

I don't pray.In fact I don't believe He hears anybody.In my perception God is in no way like human being.He is much above a postion that can be personified and so used or abused at our will. In God's mind there is nothing like good or bad, rightfulness and sin etc.If at all God is there He created the universe in a certain way- in a very complex way to be precise-and the universe has been running and will continue to run in that way favoring none disfavoring none. there is no relevance of anybody's prayer howsoever good or bad he or she be in human perception.

yes, i pray all the time, when im alone, when i need someone to talk, i talk to God and most especially at night, i pray to guide us and protect us from harm. First i thank him for the day that past, a beautiful day, and for the food that i eat that day, for the blessings i receive and for having a good day. then i asked forgiveness and then i asked for protections. for me and my family and friends and for world peace.

i do pray before i go to sleep and i don't like it when i miss doing that, i do pray that each coming day should be better than the passing day and that God should make a way for me and he should protect my family back home, though we are thousands of miles away but i do care for them so i pray for many things within few minutes

Yes I will even a short way to praise God for all the things He provided for us and to the whole world. It is really true that I am thanking God for the very good benefits and guidance He has give to me all minutes in my life. Without Him I dont know who I am today. I pray for the more patience and sacrifice to face the obstacles in life . Because our life not all happines but mixture of it.

I try as hard as I can to say my prayers before I go to sleep. Honestly, there were times when I forgot to say my prayers. When I am so tired and my back touches the bed, it seems like with the snap of finger, I have already fallen asleep. I thank God for the day's blessings, ask for forgiveness, and guidance and all my petitions. I do it in a nice way as if I were just talking to someone beside me. I remember one time when I was so confused, I felt like a child asking for a sound disposition. So, never stop praying, and pray until something something happens.
