Search Engines, have you tried a new one lately?

I guess most people know google, yahoo, altavista search engines, but have you try any other new tool for that purpose? Recently I have discover new ones like WolframAlpha and TextRunner, they intend to provide a new level of search engines, they promise to make association from what you typed to search, and bring you more accurated results. Have you tried one of these engines? What do you think about them?

I heard about WolframAlpha a few weeks back, and did a test run on it. It did not satisfy my search needs. I tried it again a few minutes ago, with basically the same result. The search engine may be geared towards certain areas of information, whereas I prefer a wider scope. Maybe it will improve further. I failed to get through to Textburner, getting a message 'Connection has been closed by remote server.; all the best, rosdimy
