He loves me.....He loves me not....

It could mean that he really likes you as a friend. I recently told this to someone and meant it in a friend way but immediatly after realised it could be interpreted another way though! So I guess it depends what kind of relationship you have. If he is your boyfriend then i think it means he likes where things are going but he doesn't love you. I don't think that is a bad thing though because it sounds like he had good thoughts about your future!

It depends, may be he likes you as a friend and not as a Lover, may be he loves you but hesitates to tell thinking that the current relationship could end. If you show positive signs when he says I like you..:) then he can take further step to say I love you. But seriously can not judge this word until we know the person who says that word.

The best way to find out is wait for a while. Just take his words as it is now "LIKE YOU" not LOVE YOU. Perhaps he may show what he really feels and then you will know. Do not expect though as you may end up being hurt later on if you made a wrong expectation. Enjoy and be content with what you have with him for now.

well it has a lot of meanings maybe he's after of making friends with you, maybe you inspires him in a way, maybe he finds your presence significant already, maybe he is starting to fall for you, or maybe he's pretending who's trying to test your personality... i can't really explain it further because i don't have any details about him...

First of all ask yourself whether do you like him as a friend or you hope to be in a relationship with him. If you hope to go into relationship with him, why do you ask him directly whether he likes you as a friend or hope to be with you. Then you do not need to guess it anymore. I am quite a daring person. If a person tell me that, I will ask him upfront whether he likes me only as a friend or hope to go into relationship with me. :)
