Anyone read The Last Lecture??

I was wondering if anyone has read The Last Lecture. I was reading Reader's Digest at the doctor's office (it was an older issue) and they had a review of the book along with an interview about the author. Basically the author was dying of cancer, and didn't have very long to live, so I am assuming by now he is deceased. In any event the book sounds terrific. I have been trying to find it at the second hand store or the library, but was wondering if anyone has actually read the book. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have and it is a wonderful book. The author did indeed pass away earlier this year or late last year, I don't remember which. But his story was very inspirational and I think everyone should read that book. It was great.

I figured he had to have passed away as when I was reading his interview in Reader's Digest it said he only had a few months to live and that was about 1 year ago. He seemed like such an upbeat man, that is why I really want to review the book. I also want to read the book my Michael J. Fox, I hear that is also a great inspirational book. Thanks for you input.
