when my husband and i were boyfriends, i had a bunch of my favorite flowers delivered anonymously to his workplace. the card just wrote happy birthday and his name then a butterfly stamp at the bottom. he phoned my right away and told me of the unusual birthday gift. i pretended not to know anything about it. then when he came to pick me up from work, we headed to my house and there was his favorite dinner which i cooked. I had to ask permission from work that afternoon to run some errands so I can sneak home and cook dinner. sweet yet simple.

That is wonderful gift. You are a good planner. You have given me a good idea, but I am not good at cooking my husband's favorite dishes. I have to learn it. Also, now I live in India and my husband live in America. So, I have to find something to send to him. His birthday is on September. Do you have any idea?

What does your hubby like? The best way to find a gift for someone is to take into account what they really like, want, need, wish for, what they won't buy for themselves, what would totally surprise them, and make their day. I know exactly what my husband likes, and I pay attention to him. Through the year he's mentioned DVD titles that he's wanted, and I put them on my Amazon wish list. Now when a special occasion comes up, I order one for him. Just listen to Hubby, or ask him what he'd love to have, and go from there.

Depends on what his interests are...I'm basing this on what I think my husband would appreciate. Consider:
sport shirts (fashion), tickets to his fave game, concert tickets (if he's into that), CDs or DVDs of classics on new movies or music he might enjoy, a montblanc pen perhaps? ;), Shoes for work or for sports, a gym membership (if hasn't got one yet), perfume, Prepare a fancy meal for him!, Do a treasure hunt of several gifts you know he'd enjoy (get creative)... oh, the possibilities are endless. have fun while you're at it.
& happy birthday to your hubby! :)
