How do you focus on your studies?

This summer (2009) I thought about how will I act on my 2nd year in college. All of us wants change, even in our own little way, that's why I decided to turn back my old self. I want to be a silent type student, and behaved. Also, the image of handsome boys not talking much with the ladies, in short a snob type. But now that this school year just started, I managed to do my plan for the 1st and 2nd day. Today is the 3rd day of school. When I was sitting alone on my desk, a new classmate approached me. She introduced herself and talked to me about things. My plan started to broke. I actually talked to a girl?! Aww... but.. I think that's natural on me. The only problem is I can't focus on my studies. When the teacher is discussing, there are times I want to llok at her or actually talk to her. Damn.. What should I do? How do you focus on your studies?

Don't take it as a problem. Talking to girls would groom your personality. And regarding, how to focus on studies, try not sitting with girls when you are in class. Sit with some sincere boys (if you have them in your class). Because, it happens at times that we are more focussed on the questions, "Is she looking at me?", "I should appear to be sincere", "I must talk to her" and all these will distract your mind and lead you nowhere. There's a time for everything. Study while you are in class and enjoy while outside.
