Its the habbit of the women to ape the cook books and follow them word to word. In most parts of the world, its a cheffy secret to the making of many dishes much more delicious than expected. There are so many available in the Indian markets on a variety of topics for Indain cookbook wives!

I try not to use cookbooks, but sometimes forgetting one ingredient or the correct measurements can make a big difference to the dish. But, when i use a book, it always seems to get things spilled on it, thats very frustrating.

I usually follow the cookbook when i'm new to this recipe, when i'm got used to it then that's the time that i experiment the dish on my own using different ingredients and adjusting the measurements to a certain recipe because i believe that i would get easily tired of a certain dish if i keep on using the same ingredients for the recipe. And that's my opinion about it.

hi! if i'm going to cook the dish for the first time, i'd follow the recipe in the cookbook word per word. afterwards, when i cook the same dish again, i'll do some variations based on the experience the first time. i like adding a lot of garlic and less on salt, so i just play it by ear at times when i reign over the kitchen.

Most of the time I will follow the cookbooks. Especially how to bake the cakes or make the pizza. As it's quite important for me to know how many ingredients I should add to make such kind of food. I love China

I only follow the cookbook when i want to cook something different for my family. Usually, i will just mix around the ingredients that i had bought, to cook my dishes. As for baking cakes and bread, i will always follow the recipe books. Because if you do mistake while mixing the quantity, your end product doesn't look perfectly nice to eat. I ever tried once, mixing and doing my own cake recipe and felt sad to see the result. My cake ended-up became to hard for eat...

I do follow internet for various recipes. The recipes which I don't know how to prepare I refer to internet guide. I love cooking though.

Hi there! I am not one of those women who follows everything that is written in the cook book. I love adding ingredients to taste, except for the ingredients which will affect the whole quality of the food. I am just adjusting the ingredients which are only concerned with the taste.
