Care in Pregnancy

Hi,
My friend is pregnant and due on August 17th.
What all measures and care to be taken during this stage? Please advice.
Also, list the food, fruits and vegetable items beneficial during this.

At this stage in pregnancy she should be making sure to eat a good diet with at least five portions of fruits and vegetables a day. She also needs to make sure she is getting enough iron, calcium and vitamin B6 - these are all important for the growth of the baby. Iron comes from red meat, pulses and dark green vegeatbles such as spinach. It also might be in fortified breakfast cereals. The best sources of Calcium are diary products including milk, cheese and yoghurts. She can eat low fat diary as this has the same ammount of calcium as normal diary. B6 is important for the development of the baby's brain and is found in eggs, bananas, chicken, fish and some pulses and vegetables such as califlower.
