III The prince and his maiden are soon to be betrothed So alike they are, not missing the things they've lost For in this place, all is as it seems Happyness returns to the Land of Dreams IV Tears will fall, into a river of dreams But amongst them all, a silver arrow gleams Awakened by the ripple of the fair maiden's woes For when her lover has a tipple, to other women he goes As she gazes into the water, her reflection so blurred The arrow flies up to her, to her heart so stirred She doesnt know whats hit her, as she clutches at her chest Then she slips into the water to be with the rest The elven Prince's son, Dream by name Went strolling past the river of Dreams the same Gazing upon the water, the sight made him sigh The fair maiden lay floating, with tears in her eye Her heart was broken and crying out to him Longing for a life without any sin He steps into the river, and carried her out to his side Into a world where nothing has to hide A world where everything is as it seems A world known evermore as the Land of The Dreams.
