The alps, a bird eye view! Nice book!

I just came across this book, it´s wonderful.

The photos that it takes are really original, and I think really difficult to take. They are all taken from the air, in a place where it´s not easy to do that (The alps). It has the patronage of the Unesco, so for sure it´s a great book.
Has anybody travelled to the alps? I dind´t :( It´s a bit far away from where I live, but really would like to go.
Can anybody comment any experience travelling to the alps?

That seems like a wonderful book. I live in Europe and so have been to the Alps. The train journeys in that region are delightfully scenic. The scenery is great in Switzerland, Austria, Southern Germany and Northern Italy. I especially like it around Salzburg and over the border into Bavaria.
