What do you do when you want to make new friends?

I can make new friends in daily life from work or a party or even out clubbing but on the internet side i use to go to chat groups like yahoo chat and many groups and forum online and these site that are out there for people who want to make friends from abroad.Or even those language site where you can meet people who are trying to learn other languages just as i was doing.Met some nice people who were willing to help me as i help them and later kept in contact.

I often make new friends by my friends.For example,A is B's friend and then B introduce A to me.I think it's a good way to make new friends.I don't like make friends by Internet.I like to talk face to face.
