Sounds like the rich, whiney corporate lap-dog that wrote the original letter is truly afraid of CHANGE. I realize that can be one definition of conservative and it should surprise noone that people who made a ton of money the past 30 years should be afraid of change. What is surprising is how vocal they suddenly feel the need to be.
I doubt most even really care about economic policy or tax and spend politics, which we always should question in our leaders. What I hear and see from this Anti-Obama crowd is fear over his religious past and the whole WASP anger over his position of power.
It is time to stop attacking the individual and deal with the proposed policies one at a time like we should with any other President.

cant say us little people made a ton of money altho we did have jobs! which is more than I can say right now for every one.
I for one would like him to put the money back into the U.S. of A.
and stop spending it going to other countries and running us down! Why does he or anyone in government think we need to keep sending and spending money over seas when we would be better off if he spent it here!

Oh, that's rich. Resort to the whole "white people don't like the idea of a black (in reality half-black, but bear with me) man in the White House, so that's why they don't like him.
No, that's not why we don't like him. We don't like what he stands for (pure, unadulterated Socialism, Fascism, and dare I say it--Communism). We don't like his plans for this country, and we don't like the fact that he listened to a far, far left America-hating preacher for 20 years and bears no little amount of hatred for this country himself.
Tax and spend politics? The Democrats are famous for that, although sadly, I'm seeing Republicans jump on the bandwagon. Obama's not going to change that, he's going to make it worse. Listen to the Congressional Budget Office's report on his plans for health care reform--the money is going to be in the trillions! The man is putting a burden on our children, our grandchildren, and possibly several future generations to come
"It is time to stop attacking the individual and deal with the proposed policies one at a time like we should with any other President."
I don't recall any of the media bothering to do that with George W. Bush, do you? My point is made.

I fear for America for the next four years. Anyone who elevates an ordinary man such as Obama to godlike status because of his race and color will regret it. it happened to Hitler, Stalin, and other evil men. Centuries ago God would punish these evil men by making them die of horrible diseases such as happened to Herod. I fear what will come of America in the next four years and the loss of incentive and get up and go that America is famous for.
Of course, Obama should scare us all. At least, many of us read on what he was all about and said, that he should not be president.

I read the article and some of the comments.
In a world that is going through a transition as major as we are experiencing with the Revolution in Iran and the troubles in Iraq our challenges in Afghanistan and the faux threat attributed to have come from North Korea (like duh!) Who would foreshadow such a threat as to launch any thing likely to be considered a weapon towards the Pacific Jewel???
What is truly scary is the number of people who might believe and promote the suppression and oppression of innocent people.
Sure wealthy business people who live as the elites of our world they would certainly want to prevent poor people from attaining the same status and equality free from financial constraints.
Why don't people see the peace created from sharing?

Amazing. This last paragraph did not just scare me but petrified me: "You scare me because your media team does not address or diminish in any way your deification before the world, epitomized by the editor of Newsweek who stated this past week on Chris Matthews' MSNBC show: "In a way, Obama's standing above the country, above the world. He's sort of God." (How much scarier can it get than representative statements like that in a republic that once stood for a balance among political powers and a government "by the people, for the people"?).
Now I am quite happy to be 70 years old as I do not have such a long future ahead of me as most of the young totally blind Obama adorers who will have many years to regret what Obama has done to America..

Chuck is awesome. I've read the letter from the Procter and Gamble guy before. Looks like it's making the rounds. Pretty cool. So Chris Matthews said that Obama was sort of like God???? WOW!!! Dangerous statement.

That is shameful. By the way, if it wasn't for the USA military in WWII, I would probably not have ever existed. Both my parents were POWs rescued by the US.

Excellent letters and reasons to be afraid of Obama and his administration.
