do you sleep while riding in a bus?

I would have to be extremely tired to fall asleep on a bus. I would also have to be desperate for transportation to ride a bus. I hate buses.

yes i do. but i always tend to wake up even when the bus brakes, that is how i am still attentive with my things and the place where i am supposed to bunk or stop. well, sometimes i love looking on the scenery alon gthe way that i dont really truly have timeto sleep too. and when i am with someone, sometimes i could sleep and soemtimes i dont. its nice to have someone to talk too. thanks friend jhelai

As much as I wanted to, I really cannot sleep when riding a bus. I find it very hard to sleep. I am the kind of person who cannot sleep when I am in an uncomfortable position. So it is really difficult to sleep when I ride the bus. I may be able to take a nap for just about 30 minutes but eventually I will just awaken and find it really hard to sleep.

Ya i will sleep in bus when i travel in bus. Because i hate the smell when entering in the bus ..

I had gone in trips in your locality, its a journey 18 hours. For the 1st time I as So tried with my trip that I decided to sleep in the Bus only because the Trips was so far and I have No other option to do instead of Sleeping. Keep Smiling and Happy myLotting...

as much as possible i try not to sleep especially if i'm in a public transportation. I don't feel safe when i'm awake, how much more when i'm asleep. i try to play games on my cellphone or just try to enjoy and observe the scenes and sights around me. I learn a lot just by observing people.

well it depends...if its a sluggish ride or for a long ride i do sleep ...but when the journey is short and crisp filled with beautiful views then i wont...

My answer is a big Nooo! I never easily sleep on bus specially if it is a long hour travel of 12 hours. It really pains my butt and my back and even if the road is not crooked, i still can't sleep on the way drivers drive the bus way fast and zigzag roads makes me feel so dizzy. Good thing that I am used of traveling at a younger age and that's one reason I don't have motion sickness like others who feels like vomiting when they had been traveling for so long. It is uneasy for me since long distance travel by bus makes me wait for the stop over to pee and sometimes we don't eat decent food because we don't feel like the food offered on such local restaurants are clean. I am really not enjoying much when I travel by bus specially if it will be half day travel. I'd still prefer plane,without any hassle but it is really expensive.

When I rode the bus to school, I used to always take naps too and from whichever educational establishment I was assigned to be at on weekdays. Most often than not, the rest I got on a bus was the best part of my day. It almost made the whole public school situation worth while(almost.)

Sometime if it is a long journey, I used to sleep during a bus journey.

yes most of the time i fall asleep when riding a bus especially if its a long trip. there was this one time i find really funny and a bit annoying, i traveled from province to city, i fell asleep, since it was a long trip... i woke up only when the bus is going back to its destination, where i came from... silly... lucky me, i woke up just as they were leaving the terminal. the driver or conductor could have waken me up and told me its time for me to get off the bus.

My bus ride to work is about 30 minutes. I try to have a quick power nap. This is for both going to work and coming back. Twice, I missed my stop.

Yeah, I like to sleep while riding in the bus. And I find myself very easy to fall asleep in the bus compare to slepping on my own bed. I don't know what is the reason.

Sometimes but I haven't really rode a bus for a pretty long time. Whenever I would ride the bus to school though I would fall asleep if I was really tired but it all kind of depends I suppose.

Now I don't need to ride on transportation because I have car now but I still fall asleep on the car... I think I'm just allergic to vehicles BEcause when I was riding bus or van or taxi, I always feel asleep, I have skipped station before as wel, it was painful especially when I was rushing to go to work or somewhere then I needed to go back and waited for another bus came... And these days, when I ride on the car, I always feel like sleeping, I just like the feeling of being inside the vehicle and it makes me fall asleep easy...

hii dear friend..nice to meet you here..Yeah i will sleep when i was riding in the bus..not now when i was smaller i must go on the bus to the school..At that time daily i wish to sleep on the bus..And the conductor of the bus will awake me when themy stop came..And also this is a dangourous one when any body will not awake us when our stop had came..We will cross the stop..So that we must be carefull while travelling in the bus..We must controll out sleep..Happy mylotting dear friend..have a nice day..keep smiling..

hi, I usually dont travel much by intercity buses but when ever i do and the trip is as you said long i try to sleep in the bus. Most of time i can sleep. It also depends what time i catch the bus. if it is night bus or very early morning bus say 5 am then definitely i would sleep and i sleep too sound and have to tell my co passenger to wake me up when my stop is about to come. I dont like to look out from the bus unless i am traveling in Himalayas so sleep is best thing i can do.

i hate long rides, i hate waiting. so for me not to notice how long the drive will be, what i did is i will not sleep at night so when i am in the bus i will sleep or i will get a night trip so i will sleep the whole time. even if we have our own vehicle, i still sleep. but we there will be a nice scenery, i make sure i am awake.

Yes especially if the ride and travel is so far. Im gonna want to sleep to let the tiredness out. But if it is near to my place I will awake already I'm afraid to walk long way for that . Im worried to bring the heavy luggages with me alone .So will be vigilant for that.
