Have you tried any of the "Seen on TV" articles in stores?

I keep thinking about trying the giant tomato trees, but it just doesn't sound realistic. Has anyone tried them yet?
I know the dryer balls work. At least, the blue ones with spikes all over. I have them and they do a great job. Saves me a bundle on dryer sheets! Except on blankets, there dryers sheets work better.
What have you tried and was it worth it?

I've tried the Tweeze and it worked for quite awhile. But then you need a new one when it dulls.
I just got the "shaving" thing that rubs your hair off. It takes forever so I haven't done my entire legs yet, but I made the mall lady do a demo on me since I was skeptical. I think I'll like that one as long as I have the time to use it eventually. I hate shaving especially now that I have a few bumps on my legs from animal bites. So rubbing should be better.

I wouldn't say extremely dangerous. Just painful. It's like road rash. That's the exact feeling.
Now I just have tons of little scabs all over my legs. I'm sure they'll be gone in a few days. But I won't be trying that one again!
And to think I wasted $30 on it too. But I'll probably still use up the "sand paper" stuff for projects or something I guess.

Ouch!! That doesn't sound like a particularly safe product! If it does that immediately, what happens a few days later? Seriously, that sounds very dangerous.

Yes.. I have a horror story or two..lol..Once I got QT sunless tanner from seen on TV. It started to turn my legs orange! I jumped in the shower thinking I could wash it off and it left streaks!!! OMG..it was terrible! It took about three weeks for that crap to wear off!

That stuff always turns you orange. There's a new sunless tanner. You go to the tan shop and stand nekid in the booth, or you can wear a swim suit if you want tan lines. When the bell rings, you get spritzed with color. Then you turn around and do the back side. It is supposed to look decent and not orange. Bad part is it only lasts a few weeks. I'm sure it costs a lot, but I haven't priced it.

There are actually some really good products out now. Nivea sunless tanner is really good. That orange thing has been several years ago..it's come a long way..lol..That spray on tan has had some great feedback from some friends of mine at work. They say it actually adjusts to your skin tone to give you a natural looking tan. It does only last a few weeks but my friends say it's about as much as a months tanning package. Lasts about that long too.

I've never tried sunless tanner, and I don't think I'm gonna now! I don't tan anyways. Sitting out in the sun gives me a headache, and then I burn. There's no tan in between! I guess I'll stay vampiric white. Sigh.

I had bought the PediPaws, which works ok if the dogs can stay put long enough. I also bought the original Shark sweeper, which works great on both bare floors and carpet, but using it on carpet the charge does not last as long. I also bought a handheld fabric steamer which I think works great, easy to steam shirts while on the hanger.

You could throw a Kong in the dryer too and the pounding will soften cloths.

I wasted $10 on that Smooth Away hair remover thing! Just go ahead and buy sandpaper instead, it's cheaper. It looked so good on TV. You really have to rub a lot to get even the finest hair to be removed. I tried it on my legs anyway, thinking that maybe the hair would take longer to grow back. However, the hair grew back just as quick as with shaving. So I really don't see the benefit of using this product. Shaving is a lot quicker, and it doesn't sand down my skin. Maybe I'm not using it correctly, but it doesn't seem that complicated to figure out!
