I feel horrible and don't know what to do. I used to gain and lose weight on a regular basis. Now all I am doing is gaining weight. I don't eat too much. My only weakness is coffee. I can't wear any of my jeans or shorts. I have resorted to sundresses only! They are the only thing that still fits. Has anyone ever had this problem? I am always lazy now too. Not like me at all. I don't even want to clean house anymore. Is there something over the counter that will help me to feel better and have more energy? I have had an addiction to pain meds for a long time now because of the way they make me feel but I don't want to keep taking them cause when I don't have them I get 10x worse. HELP!!!

Have you had your thyroid checked? This can make you more tired and gain weight faster. I found out about my thyroid when I was about 37 years old. If I forget to take my throid pill in the morning I seem to drag more throughout the day.
or
it could be you are slightly anemic. Next time you go to your doctor ask him to check for these two things. both can be diagnosed through a blood test. Iron pills are available over the counter and will boost your energy but you should only take them if you have an iron defiency.
Hope you feel better soon! and no you are not a fat hefer :)

I'm right there with you and I think it's depression...at least to a certain extent. I used to do calanetics, yoga and pilates on a regular basis and then just stopped. Since then I've gained almost 15 pounds. I don't wear sundresses, but I always wear jeans. I have a pair that makes me look thinner... and is almost the only pair of pants that still fits. My energy levels are really low and I don't feel like doing anything, let alone clean the house. I'm sorry I can't be of any help. When someone responds with a good advice to your situation, I'll take it as well. Oh, and lighten up on those pills ;)

I felt the same. I dont know why i am gaining weight again. I was so successful maintaining weight from previous years and then after my husband left me to go to other country, i just started to crave for more fried chicken, fastfood, coffee, bread and a lot more. maybe i am starting to feel so depress and the only way i find to solve is to eat more and feel satisfied. I need to exercise this weekend.
happy mylotting and smile always!
