No, I'm just yankin your chain. I do need a little advice though. This little Chihuahua pictured here is Tiffy, we also have four Boston Terriers, all are indoor, outdoor dogs. For the most part, relieving themselves in the house isn't an issue. The bigger dogs will go outside, with the exception of if it's storming and they can't hold it, it which case we might find a surprise when we get up in the morning.
The chihuahua uses her puppy pads faithfully, she also uses the doormats by the front door, the front porch, right at the bottom of the step because she's too lazy to walk a few feet on either side of the step. The strange thing is, she knows what she's doing in the house because she never does it when one of us can actually catch her at it.
We have new flooring put down, no more carpet for me. I need something by the front door for us to wipe our feet on, I don't want dog pee to be on it.
Is there a natural repellent we can spray the doormat with that won't cost an arm and a leg.
I told my husband I thought I was going to put some moth balls in a bottle of water and spray around outside where I don't want her to go. I would rather smell the lingering scent of moth balls (gag) then dog pee that has been warmed by the hot, humid days we have here.

Guitarpunk, she is housebroke. She is seven-years-old and uses her puppy pads with no problem. The problem is, over the last year or so she seems to have developed a little bit of an attitude, like it's her will over mine. She'll walk right by her puppy pad and pee on the doormat. Mostly she's sneaky about it. I will even go as far as spying on her and sure enough, she'll trot right over there and do her business, if she catches me watching her, she'll lay her ears back and slink off, I don't even have to scold her.
I need something to spray on these areas where she wants to express herself so it will be to inconvenient for her to bother with it.
