Many of us love some person in our life with our whole heart and they so special in our lives and they become the world for us.There are many different ways in which we can express our love to them-sending red roses, cards ,love mails etc. But the oldest and always fresh way is to pen down our feelings on a paper and write beautiful love letter to them. HOW did u propose ur gal/guy.Do u still think that love letters are the best way of expressing love, since time immerioal.Do share ur beautiful opinions, thanking you all in advance. happy mylotting

hi there! i think love letter is the best...coz you can keep it for a long time and when you come to read it again now with old papers and a little faded ink...it feels like all those memories and feelings from the past just coming back and refreshing our memories! reading it again suddenly brings back the feeling & the joy you feel those days and it makes you feel more in love with the person who gave it to you...(well, its how i feel every time i re read those love letters that my husband gave me during our courtship days, bf/gf days...and i think love letter really have a big part in the survival of our relationship long distance...) during those times cellphones are not yet that popular and we don't have internet connections then... now that the communication technologies are very modern, i think love letters written in pen and a stationary is no longer that popular...some just send love letters through e-mails or text messaging...things like that! but for me, nothing beats the old ways of sending love letters for i think that it has more personal touch and sweeter to see the real penmanship of the person you love...and good to know that he really do it himself... up to present, i still do write something for my husband, even just a short letter...and he also do it sometimes...and yes its so nice & sweet...

Yes uday I absolutely agree with you. Love letter is the best way to express the feelings whom we love. One can open his or her heart to the beloved. The first love of life can't be expressed in other way than love letter.Cards.mails etc can't serve this purpose. These only express only some parts of our feelings.Roses can be sent to beloved.Specially red rose is the symbol of love.Send to your beloved a letter with red rose.

I remember writing passionate love letters to my sweetheart when I was sixteen...I had to go away for three months with my family and I missed him terribly. I used to write to him twice a week and pour my heart into those letters... Many years have gone by and we are both married...To other people! Our lives took different turns and I don’t know about him, but I have not communicated with romantic love letters to anybody else since my teenage years. We have emails now and text messaging, definitely not as romantic. It’s impossible to spray your favourite perfume on an email!

Writting and receiving love letters are still the sweetest thing one can give or do for his/her love one.But with the technology now adays, some people do not use this kind of communication anymore.Mostly letters are in the form of bills, statement of accounts and demand letters. You would definitely be surprised to recieve a letter nowadays. You might end up saying "he should have text or called , I could have gotten the message earlier of time.

hi 23 uday, In the day of net and instant messenging and the ecards the love letters have nearly lost their value as no one has time enough to write love letter in this jet age. A love letter takes hours if not days to write and lots and lots of paper which u throw away in dustbin as u didnt like what you wrote. But as a young female if someone writes me a long love letter that would be a definitely + and mean much more than 100 e cards or hours of instant chat.

loveletter is wonderful thing - especially if you end up marrying the same person who wrote that letter.. i can be a 'fun reminder' as well.. like my letter to my husband which i totally forgot about - which he had kept. i am not much of a 'romantic' - i am horrible at writing 'romantic words' - so, my 'loveletter' would normally turn out very 'candid' and 'funny'... one fine day, he took out the letter and showed it to me - it was really funny and very embrassing reading it again after all these years (almost 20 years) but it really made me feel 'appreciated' that my husband still kept it.. and also made me ashamed that i totally forgot that i actually wrote it...

I think it's still relevant to use a traditional way of expressing love emotion by writing on pieces of scent papers. Sometimes it spice up one relationship to some degree of purity to be reminisced in future. I mean, an art of love history between both parties. Sort of museum of love artifact as an old folks love story in future to the next generations. Who knows!!!

Hi 23uday! I think that you are right! It is always so romantic to write someone a nice love letter! It is the sweetest way to express your true feelings to them and you can tell them exactly how you are feeling straight from your heart! You can always send a nice card or note, but nothing says it best then a nice letter that you write your own true feelings on that comes from deep within! I still like to do that to the people in my life that really mean something special to me like my mom and my boyfriend and I'm sure that they really appreciate it too!

I wrote a lot of love letters when I was in my teens, but we didn't have computers and the internet at that time and phones just were not used that much, someone always was waiting for an important phone call or had to make one. I don't think about writing any letter now, if anything I just send a card.
