How often do you forget the time that you ...

"What day is today? " I asked, "It's Monday, isn't it?" " You gotta be kidding!" A guy said, "It's Thursday." Then, I almost got faint and spent the whole minute counting. What a big surprise! I thought that guy might lose his sense! "Are you sure it's Thursday? Are you sure you had seen me there three days?" Then, everybody else was crushed with my question. Oh my gosh! Where is my time? How come I even lose three days? Did the aliens take me aways with no sign? I thought I might travel faster than the light and I went back in times. After all, it's one of Einstein's theorys! haha Do you often fortet the time?

I think we all tend to do this, lose track of time, get sidetracked and spacey, even a little loopy at times. But lately, this hasn't been a problem for me. My boyfriend however all week has been a day or more behind. He asks me every day without failure, "Today's Monday?" I say, "No, it's Tuesday." each time he's shocked he missed a whole day. He wakes me up early on Thursday to ask what time I work, I tell him 11 today, he says, "You usually work at 9." I said, "Today is Thursday, I work at 11 on Thursdays, it's the only day I sleep in, I know my work schedule." He tells me how he can't believe it's Thursday already and the week has gone by so fast, he doesn't even remember it passing, doesn't even really believe me it's Thursday, forced me to go get the paper. Crazy how that happens to people, we all lose track of time....

Oh, I totally agree with you! Someone is just much better at losing track of time! It's just like losing the way to someplace!

I think it would be worse to lose the way to someplace, I hate getting lost in that aspect.

I even forget my age most of the time! So, when People ask my how old are you, I get confused for a while and think it over. Then, I realize that I am so old! haha

Sometimes I do that too. My mom has done that lately. She'll ask me what day it is and I'll tell her. She'll disagree with me and then go look at a calendar. A lot of times when someone tells me the day is Saturday or whatever, I'll respond, it doesn't feel like a Saturday. What exactly does a Saturday feel like?

Since I've retired, I often forget what day it is. My husband marks the days off on the calendar, but I can't depend on that. He sometimes forgets to mark off the day, or he'll mark the day off in the late afternoon. To him, the day is already gone, but I still have several hours in which to forget what day it is. I woke u8p this morning thinking it was Monday. However, when I remembered that I had been to mid-week bible study the previous night, I knew it had to be Thursday.

I get confused as to what day it is on a regular basis. The working week here in Egypt starts on a Sunday and finishes on the Thursday, so this in itself messes things up for me because I'm used to the weekend being a Saturday and Sunday. I figured that after more than a year and a half here, I'd get used to it and adjust, but this hasn't been the case at all.

I do farily often, but not as much since I started working part time last year. But that's the joys of having a humdrum SAHM life til the kids start school again.

I do this constantly. Worse than ever since I have been layed off from my job. Because I am pretty much home all the time as not only did I get laid off but my car is broken down so my boyfriend uses our only working car during the day. So since most of my days at home are the same, I tend to forget what day it is al the time. I am always forgeting what day it is and wondering how the heck I missed all those days!!

I don't forget since I work everyday and i have a white board calendar which gives me guide for my schedules of activities, meetings and appointments. I know a friend who doesn't remember a day he spent to because he doesn't work for almost a year now. hahahaha remind myself to remind him of his birthday

Well,i think most ppl is easy to do that. When we face different things that influent our mood,we'll hope that time can be quickly or slow even can be stop.yup, everytime when i enjoy the company with the friend i'll forgot the time.We now in our work that's routine,so sometimes we'll think that today is yesterday or never notice that is Mon. or else.

Yes, I always forget the time. The saying is true that time really flies fast. I think it's because we are always so caught up in whatever we are doing. Also, it is because we have so many things to do that sometimes we are short on time. For example, I usually don't notice that it's Friday already, much to my delight.

oh yeah that use to happen to me all the time. I would just loose track of which day it was. I would always have to ask someone what day it was. It sad to think you can forget about something like that but it definately does happen. But luckily I got a calendar and I always look at it everyday so now I am pretty good with remembering what day it is.

It happens to me very often.Sometimes I even write down the wrong date to remember the key affairs. Indeed, day after day,my life doesn`t change.Get up at 9:oo am,hurry up to office staying until 9:00pm, what a regular time table. Therefor, forgeting time is the normal thing to me. If it doesn`t affect the important meeting or something. Time goes fast. Now that we can forget time, we must use every minute to enjoy ourselves. Make our lives better and better.

I do this all of the time. I work nights and sometimes work parts of the day also. My husband and I work seven days a week, so it is very easy to forget the time or what day it is when we start work one day and stop working on another.

Well I'm currently unemployed so I lose track of time all the time, but since I'm hooked on Whale Wars on Animal Planet, it's been helping me keep track a little better, since I try to watch that show as soon as it comes on, Fridays.
