Birthday gift to boyfriend

Hi everyone. My boyfriend's birthday is just around the corner(which is within 3 weeks time), but until now I still have no idea what should I give him as a gift. In the previous year, I'll only treat him a meal as a present, but this year I wish to give him something special. MyLot Ladies out there, could you please share what have you give your boyfriend as a birthday present? and for MyLot guys out there, what is the gift that you wish to get from your girl friend. Appreciate if you can share your views with me as a reference. Thanks a lot.

Before i cold read your whole disussion, I was going to tell you, make him a nice Dinner. and give him a nice back rub and you know the rest! LOL! Does he like Clothes or colgne?

This is indeed a good idea. But the problem is I am not so good at cooking, and this will be a very very big challenge to me. LOL. He is not so into cologne but I think clothes is ok. However, don't you think clothes is a bit too common?

Hi, friend, if he likes to read, then get him a book. Or if he likes watching movie, and has a Player, then buy him a DVD. If he love to eat, then buy him or cook him a dinner, it is very much depend on what 's his liking and how far you are willing to go in making him happy in his birthday. Hope my two cents can help you a bit.

If a girl understand her boy friend well, i can't see why she will have any problem in getting the right present for his birthday, since no one else has a better understanding of him than his darling. haha.. 
I am puzzled even by her discussion asking for help in this.
