How many McDonald's are there within your area?

In my area there are way to many resturants. we have 2 McDonalds here and 2 Burger kings here in this town. You have a lot of McDonalds around your area. we also have wendys,tons of pizza places to chose from. Almost about every resturant you can think of its here.

Jen- We've got them everywhere out here! It just amazes me that you find them in truck stops, on every corner, and in every mall. You can't get away from them to be honest. And you add that with the other fast food chains in competition and it's like driving through cardiac arrestville. Oh well, at least I still have the will power to tell my kiddos no. Though, at age two our son knew just what those yellow arches were!!! So, I make him things at home that are similar but without the fat. And a large star wars toy always beats the cheap toys from McD's. Namaste-Anora

In the town closest to me there is only two McDonald's fast food restaurants and one is in it's own building while the other is located inside of our local Super Center Walmart. I don't know if it counts but it is in it's own area and has it's own seating and all. That is the only one we have. The next county over has like 4 though. But it is a 45-1 hour drive away.

20 miles radius? I think there is 20-30 Mcdonalds here. In our town there is 10.

About there, if within twenty miles radius in my area there are seven. They covered the entire area, so that anyone can have their burger at any time...lol.

There are at least four within a FIVE mile radius! Actually, make that six; I just thought of another one. If I make it ten miles there are at least eight or more.

Every 10 miles all directions, isn't that how they are everywhere? lol No new McDonalds anywhere but they have been here every since I moved into town and this is a smaller state but all the McDonalds have been remodeled into the new McDonald 'Cafe' theme

HI JEN, THERE is not but one mcdonalds here & there is another one in the next towns east & west of here. both towns are 10 miles away from my town. Wanted to tell u anniefannie is in the hospital. Talk to u later. jo

They is one on every major street in my city. And some have two. I live in a large capitol city and there are scads of them! That and Wendys, Carls Jr., BK, KFC, TacoBell, TacoTime, and we used to have Skippers. Plus all the independants. Oh, and then there are the ice cream places and coffee spots too. Oh joy for the junk food junkies of Boise, Idaho!!!! Heaven on Earth.

If I remember correctly there is at least one McDonald's within a few miles of my house in different directions. I still have to take a bus to get to all of them though lol.

there are a lot of mcdonald's in my area.going out of our village,we have a mcdonald's across the main road.there are 3 mcdonald's near my office building.on my route home,I pass by 3 malls.all these 3 malls have mcdonald's in them.

No.. Not more than four. I have seen only 2 McDonald Restaurants while I was on my way to office. Compare to McDonalds.. Subways are more in number in my place. And I usually go to subways. It doesn't mean that I don't like food in Mc :) I like the chicken and Veg Burger over there.

Presently in Jamaica we have no McDonald. We usually have but business was slow..., and they are closed permanently. To have some many Mcdonald in one circle that too much, I get they are trying to get you people eat fast food and not cook a healthy meal

I'm on the south side of Chicago near Midway Airport. Within 10 miles there are over 100 McDonald's locations listed. This just seams ridiculous to me.

I have three within a mile of my house.By car they are literally minutes away from each other. By bus it is a little harder but not impossible.

This is such a cool discussion. I see you having some 93 responses.. congratulations on that, Jenin.. It is indeed a question that I've thought out before while on the bike. I felt like eating at Burger King, and I suddenly saw so many Mc'Ds that I wonder how many are in my neighborhood area. Aplenty is just one word to sum up. I love the breakfast sets very much, and it could be anyone of it at all. I know the success of McDonald's and their franchises are making thick profits as well. Perhaps there is a special attachment to it; in terms of bringing some great memories. My childhood days were spent eating there on some weekends. Spending time with family, enjoying time on the whole, awesome.. So in short, it will always have a special place in my heart. No matter how 'tired' I am of seeing the same menu over and over again.

I live outside of a very small town in south Florida and we don't have even one McDonalds in our town...only Burger King and Subway. There's one in the next town to the south of us, which is about 15 minutes away but, if we head north, we'd have to drive for over half an hour to find one.

Wow good question let alone down town there is four. near my job there is five. Near my home there is at least six. So I would say there is at least fifteen total within a 20 mile radius of me.

I stay in India, a city called Pune. In the twenty mile radius, I suppose there aren't more than four McD's around here. Although the younger generation, including me sometimes flocks to those centres, McD, for some reason is not as widespread a phenomenon here. This is because there aren't too many here compared to the number of people and the ones that are there, they aren't that scattered. Another reason is that a considerable amount of people are veggies (At least many of my friends) and avoid eating at places serving meat et al. Yet, a few years ago, there was a news that broke out (Could also be a rumour. Dunno) that they served beef instead of chicken. The majority here is Hindu, so may be obviously......
