It is after 9 pm here in Missouri and it is still 90 degrees out, but weather.com says it feels like 96 outside. It is crazy how hot it is outside still. The heat index got up to 100 today. That is just too hot for me! How hot did it get for you today?

It was 92 today here in Sacramento. Not quite as hot as where you're at, but still too hot for my liking. By what I heard on the radio it's supposed to cool down in the next few days, thank goodness.

Yep, it's nuts. You can hardly breathe. And my hubby in getting ready to go to Chicago, cut the front lawn. News said at the time it was 98 with index 104. I did go out, and tell him he was nutty.

Feel lucky my friend! It is currently 9:40pm here for us in the desert of Palm Springs,Ca and it's 92. It's supposed to be about 104-110 throught the next week. And that is COOL for our summers. BY mid-July our days will aboue about 110-120 everyday. Miserable. We were spoiled the last 2 weeks with 85 degree weather due to some freak nature but now the heat is back and worse than ever. :-(

Wow, that is hot, I hope it cools down out there....here in central Ohio we got up to 85 degrees today the last time I watched the weather. We will be in the 90's starting in July, we do every year. I think last year we had some days it was in upper 90's....whew

Not nearly that warm here. It's been rainy, and I wore a long sleeve shirt today and was comfortable. I don't usually look to see what the temperature is, I just step out onto my porch to judge if I need a jacket or not. I was hoping it would be nicer and warmer today, it was the twins' school field trip to the pool! It was certainly too cold for swimming, but of course they went anyways. Kids don't seem to notice the cold. They said the water was cold when they first got it, but I guess they didn't care! They had all sorts of stories about how they went under water and stuff. Sounds like they had fun.
