Will you feel depressed when it rains?

I hate rain. When it rains, I feel I'm in no mood to do anything. It seems hard for me to concentrate on anything on a rainy day. Wherever I go, I just see water all over the street which quite annoys me. It started raining in the area where I live since last night and hasn't stopped yet. When I'm sitting beside the window lingering around mylot, I sometimes look out of the window but only to find people walking by one and two. These all make me depressed. Perhaps I'll just stay at home today and deal with some meaningless stuff.
Friends, do you like rain? What will you do when it rains and how do you feel?

I'm the exact opposite. I hate sunlight and love the rain. I'll take a nice, overcast, gray day over a blue-sky, sunny day any time. To me, the sun is way too harsh...it dries things out, while rain makes things lush and green.
I'm wondering where I can move in order to experience rain most of the time. lol

Aha. That's interesting. But you're right to some extent. The sun is way too harsh, especially in summer and it dries things out. While rain helps to keep the air clean and humid, and is also good to plants. In the north of my country, it almost keeps raining for 6 to 7 months a year. Perhaps you can move there. lol.

I actually like the rain, but not ALL the time. I hate when it rains and you have somewhere to go or things to do. I also don't like when it rains in the daytime because it's like your whole day is ruined because you can't do anything. I like the rain at night though because it makes me tired and I like to hear it when I'm trying to go to sleep.

Hi, tianm. I like the point you mentioned. It's really annoying that it keeps raining when we have something to do outside. In that case, the whole day is ruined. I had planned to go shopping today, but the plan fell through all because of rain.

I like the rain all the time, if i have to do something or go some where in rain i enjoy it. Rain in the night is very romantic for me.

I like the rain as it does a lot for us, like keep us alive, that's always a good one. :)
Too much rain for too long though can bring me down a bit and make me want to go to bed until it stops.
Also if I have a fishing trip planned and the rain is coming down too hard to fish I get a little depressed.
I actually like to fish in the rain, if it's not too bad. It tends to turn the fish on so it's a good time to go, plus the fair weather people all stay home so there is more fishing for me.

I think you're right. A little bit of rain is ok to me as it cleans the air. But longtime raining really depresses me a lot.
Aha. Perhaps next time it rains, you can go out fishing as most people prefer to stay inside. You may stand the chance of getting more fish

I don't mind rain at all. I actually like it when it rains because it's so much cooler in my surroundings. This is particularly important for me because living in a tropical country, it's often hot and humid - THAT makes it hard for everyone to concentrate on anything.
What I don't like about rain is that it seems to make a lot of people act very stupidly. You know how drivers are less careful when it's raining? I hate that. And I also hate it when the streets are wet and there are trash all around, that's just disgusting and the rain isn't making things any better.

Well it makes me sleep and i couldnot able to do any works feel lazy.
