Twitter???

Now someone told me you can make money on twitter. Is that true? i mean i don't know, but if you have any ideas or are doing it what do you ahve to do and what is the pay rate. I know siging up for twitter is free, but I think earning money is a different story. thanks for your help and post.

i joined a survey site. i post the survey in my blog and i get paid 35 cents to $1 after 5 days. and then they also asked for my twitter account, so every day i get simple questions from them at twitter and i answer them (just one liner) and after a few days, they add 5 cents per question in my account. send me your email if you want an invite.
