My parents has a great impact on my decision on what to take up in college. I mean they are the one who are sending me to school so I gave them the privelege to choose the course I take or can I just simply say that I am still undecided that time that I already permit them to choose my course. Whatever it is the important thing is that I am done with college and I am now a degree holder. How about you? Please share your experience on this.

Our parents has the same logic. What is important is that we land on a decent job after college.

My parents gave me advice on what they thought I should do. I tried it, and it didn't work out. The thought that I should be an accountant because I am really good with numbers. Halfway through college, I quit because I knew it wasn't for me. I just didn't know what I wanted to do. Now, I have found my calling. I am finishing my Bachelor's in Nursing, and plan on pursuing my Master's in Nursing with a concentration in anesthesiology. In about 3 years, I will be a Nurse Anesthesiologist. My parents are behind me 200%. They are helping me as much as they can with tuition, babysit my 4 children any time I need to go to class or need study time, and have let us move back home so that I don't have to work full time. They let me put a mobile home in their backyard. The older 2 kids have their own bedrooms in my parents' house, and the 2 babies are in the trailer with me. And my parents are paying for the trailer. They let me use their vehicles whenever I want, so I am trying to sell my car so that I don't have a car payment. My parents are wonderful. I am very lucky that I have them. If I didn't, none of this would be possible. No matter what I choose to do, they are behind me.

It is true that parent has a big impact on what course to take in college, but as per my experience, my mom knows my interest and she ask me first what course is good at that time, after giving her several courses, she came back to me 2 months before high school graduation and give me options of what course should I take. I was thankful at that time the course i want is in the list and i know that they will support me on it till the end, and it did happen and I thankful to my mom and to all the people who help me finish my studies.

may be parents thought we are too young to make a right decision.so they would give us many suggestion which they considered well.but my parents didn't help me to make any decision.because they are afraid that i would scold them one day if they made a wrong decision for me.so i made most of the decision by myself.
