how far have you traced your family history?

If you are interested in genealogy, how far back have you been able to go? Has anyone found ancestors in the Middle Ages or beyond?

I love researching my genealogy. I think the best I have done is one of my lines I have traced back to Celtic Times

I have some Celtic ancestry as well; I've always particularly loved Scotland and Ireland, and when I discovered these lines I finally knew why! Unfortunately I can't get past the 1700s or 1800s on any of my Scottish or Irish lines.

i just did a 2 level genealogy. to my grandparents. Its hard in my family cause its very big and many people from other countries.
