anyone meet there spouse online?

I met my wife from a random "just feel like talking to someone" message on Yahoo instant messenger. we started talking, and fell in love the first day. I Was sceptical, thinking, this is a crush, this is nothing but false feelings, and hope. We talked to each other's congregation, to confirm the person was who they said, and were in good standing in the congregation. We met in august, I proposed in sept, we married in dec. That was 7 years ago. I love her more and more each day, I appreciate that at first we did not "see" each other, the only thing was what she wrote, and what her insides were. sometimes now, we take our two computers and chat, even though were are in the same house. we talk face to face moslty, just every now and then, we like to relive the dating. I strongly reccomend to anyone who has met a person online to check them out with other sources. like their freinds, their faimly, their work, their congregation, something. It is so easy to hide what you are on the net. you would not implicitly trust a stranger you met at the bus stop, so why would you on the net?

i know u said online, but my spouse and i met thru newspaper personals (similar i guess). we talked on the phone a lot, our 1st meeting was in a public place (shopping center). that was august 1997. we married october 1997 and just celebrated our 9th anniversary last month. there is such a thing as love (& lust) @ 1st site. 9 yrs and 2 boys later and we're as happy now as we were then. on august 1st every year we put on the same outfit we wore on the day we met. isnt that silly? maybe nothin is 4ever, but i sure hope this is.
