How you get new Ideas for Discussions on mylot?

I don't personally start a lot of new conversations. But I'm starting to see that as I spend more time on here, while I'm posting and responding, random thoughts really do come to my mind, and I make conversations of them. Some produce no responses, some very little, and that's okay, I made money off of what I posted either way. And I think, if you consider the stories you tell to your friends throughout your days, like if someone were to ask you about your day, and you begin to tell them about the jackass at the grocery store today, make mylot your friend that you're venting to, start discussions, by just telling stories you might share with friends. Things that happened throughout your day that just appalled you. Some days are nonchallant and uneventful but there's always at least one encounter that just sticks in your mind throughout the day, at least in mine anyways. My boyfriend tells me all the time, he can't wait to talk to me at the end of the day, because of the stories I tell.

If you want to start a discussion, you just look around and you will find one. Me when I think of a topic I quickly write it on my notebook so that I will remember it and just made a draft then typed it here. Find the interest of many people like the Influenza virus, its all in the news from different country, it is sure that you will get a lot of response from it since everyone knows about the disease. Try to look on something that you think everyone knows.

Honestly am just thinking what topics are to be started on a discussion. I'm just quite disappointed for few responses, perhaps I have to read books to somehow reminds me of ideas learned, in times where I needed to start a discussion.

When I start a discussion, I think for awhile what I want to say, and as I am thinking it, I am posting it. I really haven't started that many discussions for that very reason. It takes more brainpower to come up with something meaningful that will get responses, than posting to discussions already on the board. I much prefer to post responses, as that is what I am better at, that starting discussions. Everyone of us is unique and different in each area tham someone else. That is what is so great about this site, is the fact we are all different and have different views and we are able to express them openly in here, st least we should be anyway. We should be able so say the way we feel without being ridiculed or put down. I feel that most generally, users are very nice and they would never do that to others. I enjoy myself so much in here, it is just plain fun, and not really work. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi navonly, I usually start discussion when my mind pops with silly question. I make sure I'm not able to answer the question that my mind questioned. When I get good feedback from our friend here in MyLot, it's simply exciting. So many of them with very unique answers. Exciting isn't it?

Write down interesting thoughts that come to you on a peice of paper or have a notepad next to your computer--many ideas we just let go, writers write them down for good discussion or article writing

Yes sometimes it is a little tough to think of fresh and interesting topics to post, but I usually manage ok I guess, but I get most my ideas just from every day life situations or personal thoughts, sometimes if theres something interesting on the news I might post it as a topic to get everyone's thoughts on it, but I find that its always better to just draw ideas for topics from life, and go with the flow, thats pretty much all we can do is just try our best and be as honest as we safely can have fun.

I spend a day with a child! You'll get lots of ideas from them! They think so differently than adults. It will really get your brain working to wrap it around the thoughts of a child!

Hello I normally respond to, different disscussions that have been started already, rather then starting a disscussions, but when ever I do decide to start a disscussion it normally be about things I need a answer to work related etc, I also love to disccuss things I have seen when I'am out and about, dealing in my daily activity.

I really don't get new discussions, sometimes I start discussion if It is something I see in my day or any incident happened with my friends or anything like that. But I concebtrate on posting comments rather discussions :)

Well I am new so reading what people wrote back to this has helped me as well. So in a way you just made one yourself. ;)

I am pretty new and haven't really had any chances to start any new discussions but I would just make them off of what I like and what other people would like. It coul be anything I guess. But who's to say whether it is a bad topic or not?

you can read magazines, or watch the news, newspapers, talk about movies, music, decoration, furnitures,etc.....
