You go through so many relationships in this life, But only one or two will last

There are many bands out there that people think have just dropped off the face of the earth, esp some of the late 90s boy bands. But unknown to most people some of them still tour and put out music. There is one band that had all the teen girls screaming in the late 90s, that still makes my teenybopper heart melt every time I see them live. What band is that you wonder? The band is Hanson, yes those 3 barely legal, long blonde haired boys that you either loved or hated when MMMBOP first fit the radio back in 1997.
So many of you reading this are probably why the heck I feel the need to talk about this band. My answer to that is simple, they are 3 of the most talented and good hearted guys that I have met or have listened to. They have touched my life in ways that no other musician or group has and I believe they are highly under-rated. Many of you might just stop reading after you figured out who i am writing about and maybe others will read on cus it caught your eye in some way.
Since they hit it big back in 1997, they have never stopped once making music. They obviously aren't as popular as they were back then but they still work tooth and nail and tour almost every year. They have released 3 other albums since Middle Of Nowhere back in 97.(This Time Around, Underneath and The Walk) Each album completely different from the last and shows off how much they have matured musically. They started their own record label back in 2003, 3CG, after having problems with the record label they were on at that time. There is a whole documentary about it called 'Strong Enough To Break' on Itunes, which in my opinion, is worth a watch if your interested in the music industry at all and their struggle to make the album Underneath.
There is one more thing that I want to bring up about this band which is their work with AIDS awareness. During the making of their last CD, The Walk, They took a trip to South Africa to put a childerns choirs on a few of tracks from that record. During their visit to South Africa, they visited a few orphanages of kids whose parents had died from AIDs, after that visit they wanted to do what they could to help those kids. They decided to partner up with TOMS shoes, which if anyone doesnt know about that company they really should. Every shoe that they sell, another pair goes to a child in need. After they released The Walk back in 2007, they started a tour called The Walk tour. The thing that they changed about this tour that no other band has done, is they started to do a one mile barefoot walk with their fans to show awareness. Then in 2008, they decided to do more with those walk since they got a god response from it. For every person that had walked the mile, they donated a dollar and to date they have donated over 25,000 dollars from those walks and walks that fans have organized for themselves.
I could go on and on about how amazing i believe this band is and what they have done but i decided to give a brief summary of what they have been doing for the past 12 years, and hopefully maybe change some of your minds about this band. They aren't those the same guys you can pictured in your head. They have grown up and their music isn't poppy or bubble gum pop. They have a more rock edge that still drives girls crazy. I'm not the best writer in the world so i hope you can bare with me!

Oh...yes I do remember this group, the Hanson boys.
They are cute and adorable. I just wonder why they don't
have new album lately. I thought they already stop doing
music together. I'm glad that they still are active in helping
those people dealing with aids everyday. To Hanson...you are one
of the best band out there. Keep up the good work!
