What a match! Egypt deserved to win for the Egyptians played the game as if all their existence depended on it. The goal was just superb, a perfect way of finishing off the reigning world champions.
Well, Italy didn't play to lose. However, it seemed they were not as hungry for success as the Egyptians. The fact that Italy, prior to last night's match against Egypt, had never lost to any African side was a source of confidence to the Italian players. However, they should have been more careful knowing knowing the way Egypt almost hold Brazil to a draw. In fact the Brazil versus Egypt match suppose to end in a draw if not for that unfortunate incidence resulting in a penalty kick that saved Brazil from embarassment.
Up Egypt and long live African football.

Egypt deserved to win. They were way more determined than the Italians.

Yeah you're right.
The Egyptians have been playing very well in the past few matches.
I'm actually glad Italy lost.
I've hated Italy all along ever since they won the World Cup 2006.
I hope Italy don't make it to the semis.
Brazil is going to kick Italy out of the tournament. HAHAHAHA!!!!!!

It was a shock for the italian side but the African football has improved a lot as the Egyptians have showed. They did not steal anything when they won against the Italians. It was a well merited win.
