After the great fall of the heroes, do not you think Dhoni should have resigned? It is a shame that the defending champions lost to all leading teams like NZ, WI, SA, Eng and what is there for Dhoni to hide that he is a good for nothing and add monger captain? Do you share?

First of all i would like to point out that india did not lose to new zealand as the two were slated in different groups in the super eight stage. The match you are refering to was a warm up match. And as you said india lost to all three leading teams. When two leading teams collide it is obvious that one leading has to win and the other has to lose. Unfortunately, india ended up on the losing side on all three occasions. A captain is only as good as his team. And dhoni had a lot of setbacks regarding the players he had at his disposal. Sehwag was declared unfit , zaheer khan was not fully fit, ishant sharma has struggled in t20 cricket in general. Dhoni made a few mistakes but he should not be called a good for nothing captain after losing one tournament.

Pratik, What I said is not baseless. See the consistency of the the team in the WI. Is not it a shame that a team like India gets defeated like a newbie?

India won one match and lost one. so it is even till now. it is a young squad. there is experience missing at the top and in the bowling. what will dhoni do if his batsmen do not make runs. dhoni was the only one who played sensibly. had the others batted around him then it would have been a brilliant captain's knock.

Hi coy coy, Its a rather difficult question. After the fall in the T20 super eight all would agree that Dhoni is not an able captain to keep up the thread intact. In my opinion after so much criticism he should have resigned.

The easiest thing in the world to do is criticise. But it is a very difficult job to be the captain of the indian team. And one series loss does not mean dhoni has failed in doing his job.

hi coycoy. dhoni is the worst cricketer who acts in 55 adds, will u believe it. he has crossed the record of big b and tendulkar. so he is a good for nothing captain as u have mentioned. i think he should resign himself, if not he should be forced. a third class captain of indian cricket history. 12 runs in 23 balls in a do or die match. how sad. lol

hi, its not fair to react to him for failing in one tournament...he is tested in many events like commonwealth series in Australia, series in Srilanka in home ground etc and has shined well...i think the loss of failure,is the fatigue and injury of key players like sehwag...he should be a lot of time...
