When i connect to the internet what i first do is check all my email accounts. First i open yahoo and check my mail after that i go for gmail and hotmail. Yahoo is my official e-mail so all the important mails arrives there and after that i open gmail which i use the mail for online earning sites and than hotmail if i want to. I started using an e-mail account in yahoo and till today i find it more reliable than the others. So, fellow friends which one is your favorite and why you prefer using that?.

I also love yahoo mail but it became my second best ever since I got Gmail account. I prefer gmail because it is much faster to load than yahoo (or maybe this is just because gmail is more compatible with Mozilla Firefox?) Gmail is also more user friendly and I can use their pop-up/smap services for free. As for security issues, I haven't experienced any incidents from any of my mails services I am using. I know three people though who got their yahoo account hacked.

Have a few email accounts, which is useful, as I tend to concentrate different types of email towards each one. Don't seem to get too much problem with spam. Quite often find that legitimate emails are going into the spam folder. Have noticed with email accounts in general that they seem able to eliminate spam so much better these days! Cheers and have a good day wherever you are!

I do have the yahoo mail as my official mail. I am having one account in in.com, for some online subscriptions which are not that much important. For my on line activities, I am having gmail account as most of the sites prefer only gmail. The problem with the other mail accounts is that they will filter many of the mails from the on line sites as spam whereas the gmail won't do like this. Also it is not possible to send the exe files with gmail and we can do this with yahoo and in some other mail services. So there is less security threat with gmail. So I prefer to use gmail only.

I use gmail. It's the most convenient for me and it is easy to use. It doesn't have any other problems regarding it's interface and it can be easily loaded in a slow connection. I have a lso a yahoo account but I seldom use it after I have tried to use my gmail account.

I use Yahoo for all my important email and AOL for odd bit and pieces. I have used Yahoo as my primary email account for years and would not change to any other source.

My Yahoo mail is the main account, healer. I opened a gmail account some months ago just so I'd have an extra one, but I actually receive almost as much mail there as I do in Yahoo mail. I like them both equally.

Hello healer, I have three e-mail accounts - two with Yahoo and one with Gmail. I use Outlook Express for my official e-mail in the office. For personal matter, I prefer Gmail. I use one of my Yahoo account for online purpose like myLot and another account is almost dormant but I still check my e-mail there once in a blue moon. Every day, when I sign in, I will check my Gmail, Yahoo and also twice a day for my Outlook Express.

Hello healer, Oh, I am not really good with computer stuff. This Outlook Express is set by my company where we need to use it for official purpose. So, I don't know much about this. Anyway, I don't like it and I think Yahoo or Gmail is still the best.

I have four email addresses, but I do a lot of work using my gmail address. Gmail is very easy to use. It also takes very less time to attach documents compared to other accounts. It is very user friendly. I also use other services provided by gamil such as orkut and youtube. I have two gmail ids - one for public to contact me and the other one to keep a back up of my personal records.

I like gmail for its large storage and strong anti-spam technology. Hotmail seems to become better recently and I'm considering to reactivate my account. Why not use a mail tool that integrates all of your mail accounts, like "office outlook" or “foxmail". It save you a lot of time when retrieving mails from different accounts. Also, Gmail provides a "automated forwarding" function that receives new mails which is originally sent to other accounts of yours.

I usually check my college e-mail, which goes through gmail, then my personal hotmail account. Gmail is probably the easiest to use, the most well-organized, and has a variety of functions. Of course, it doesn't always work perfectly, but I like it better than a lot of services I've used in the past.

I have an e-mail account I use in Outlook Express, but I mostly use Yahoo and Hotmail. I think I prefer Hotmail because it seems to be more stable, although having said that, Yahoo has improved a lot since I first signed up to use it. - Derek

I have always used a free email account like yahoo, I like them and they offer a wonderful service. I'm used to all the different colours and buttons now that I would find it difficult to change to anything else. I don't like the email service that comes with your Internet Service Provider as the emails are stored on your own computer and this definitely takes up a lot of space. I'm with AOL and I don't like their email service much. So, free email is definitely the way to go. Andrew

I prefer rediffmail which is not in your list. Its fast and thats the only reason. My second mail would be gmail, though get spams but they all get filtered so no problems. Its quite secure and safe. I dont know why but i dont like yahoo much. I have accounts there also but i never check.

For me, Gmail works the best! I have Yahoo and Hotmail, but I loved the chatting while checking e-mail in Gmail. It also allows video-chat, and how superb can that be? My vote definitely for Gmail!
