My little pet squirrel

So I moved into a new house 2 years ago. I noticed there were a few squirrels running around in my back yard so I started putting peanuts out for them. After a while one in particular learned the sound of my back door opening and everytime i opened it he would come running towards the house. Durin gthe first summer in the house i spent a lot of time out back and everyday "Hank" the squirrel would come closer and closer to me. After about 3 weeks he would take the peanut right out of my hand. A few weeks after that he started scratching on the door when he wanted a peanut, he was not even waiting for me to come outside any more. He eventually became so tame i just put a bowl of peanuts on the floor by my kitchen door so he could just run in and get his own so I didnt have to keep putting peanuts out. Then one day i was sitting outside talking on my cell phone feeding hank some peanuts after awhile i ran out but continued talking thinking he would just get them from his bowl instead of from me. I was wrong the next thing i knew Hank was sitting in my lap. I was freaked out, he is still a wild animal and i didnt want to scare him. He sat on my lap for about 5 minutes and then i guess realized i didnt have any food and jumped down. Thats my little pet squirrel story. Hank still comes to the house and eats from my hand but has not jumped in my lap since.
