Love is defined in many ways. each one of us describe it in a different way. I think the most popular way people describe by saying "Love is friendship". what do you think? How do you describe it?

I used to define love as butterflies in the pit of the stomach at the thought of the person, eager anticipation to see them again. I thought love was the way I felt so secure in her arms, so at peace even in moments of silence. I miss her terribly when she's away, and I'm happy to spend time even just sitting in the same room with her, even doing different activities. That used to be my definition of love.
But now, I don't know, because I feel all those things when I think about/spend time with my best friend. I look forward to every time I see her, I miss her when I'm not hanging out with her, when we hug, I feel finally secure and at peace. When we're both on our computers, checking our eharmony matches, or even when we're just sitting in the same room, all our silences are comfortable.

love is a magical feeling, it can make u happy and sad all at the same time. lol. confusing right? but, love is... it's a powerful emotion. it's full of complications but you just cant live without it. Love is making you feel good, but sometimes you wished u've never fallen in love. i dont know how to describe it, it's something beyond explaining.. no words to describe love. hehe :) Happy Mylotting

It is said that the Greeks had seven words for 'love'. Phileo, friendship; Eros, lust; agape, unconditional love.....can't think of the rest of them. But the point is love has many facets. It is probably the most misinterpreted word in any language.
