i'm already 24 years old and i still can't drive. I'm planning on having my driver's education this month, i can't seem to keep my mind off accidents. I can't estimate the distance between the car i'm in and the car in front of me, or the side.. I need help!!!

i started when i was 18 and i think judgin the distance is something you learn from experience. Dont give up you will get there and irs always safer to be to far away rather than to close to the car in front.

For one thing you can't stress out. You have to be alert but relaxed. Practice driving on the back roads where there is no traffic or very little. Practice, practice, practice. You'll get it! Good Luck!

I was born to drive. I was 16 when I got my license. I have never looked back. I think driving is one of those things people either love or hate. I drive a taxi part time these days and love it. Day trips on my days off. Yet I know guys in their 30's that have no interest in driving. The biggest thing is to feel comfortable behind the wheel and relaxed. If you stress out you are bound to make mistakes. I encourage you to pursue your driving education because the freedom of having a car and driving is intoxicating.

I learned how to drive when I was around 15, I was taught but I wasn't allowed to take the car not until I had my first job, which was when I was 20. Practice makes perfect orevro. Always remember, defensive driving is better than offensive driving. =) Never, ever panic.
