Favorite Joaquin Phoenix move?

Walk the Line... no contest :)

That is mine too. Gladiator is not only the movie acted by Joaquin Phoenix which I like the most. But it´s one of the favorites of all times. I also liked very much, one he made with Nicole Kidman, Yes I remember, it was named "To die for", really good movie, and "Reservation road" I really liked that movie too, and besides he work with Jennifer Connely, one of my favorite actress. What most could I wish? Cheers

I would have to say his performance in Walk the Line knocks the socks off of Commodus. His characterization of Johnny Cash is absolutely stunning and combined with the performance of Reese Witherspoon as June Carter Cash makes it a must see movie. What is all the more impressive is that Phoenix managed to sound exactly like Cash as well as look like him in his early days.

Walk the Line is my favorite. He really did good in that movie and I was hoping he would win as best actor but he did not :(

I love Joaquin Phoenix! My favorite is Signs, for sure. He is really wonderful. His mixture of vulnerability and strength is really impressive on screen. :)
